Had a long chat with a CUSN geologist this morning and passed the comment about UD being a "dud" and he said it was still a going concern. They know the extent of the lode and will be drilling again at a shallower angle to ascertain the thickness of the lode. They are focusing on SC in order to 'appease' big investors.
Drilling at 12 heads has been completed for this phase.
Drill results from Carnkie are expected in about two weeks and analysis expected to take about 10 days, after which they should be in a position to release a statement.
Results from all drilling are taking time as the company assaying their cores is swamped with samples from all over Europe.
As CK has said on another thread they hope to start pumping SC in December, they believe the mine is fairly isolated hydrographically and don't see the dewatering as being a long process. Once the mine is safe. They will then start more drilling from the surface and from underground (probably able to run 24 hours a day). Expecting to employ around 300 people directly with the mne and 700+ in associated jobs.
Possibility of a smelter in the future as a venture with other projects. Most likely near Plymouth for ease of transportation.

Spoke to two geologists from CL too but they weren't as clued up as the CUSN guy. I think they were there to take fairly basic questions from general public and couldn't comment on the projects in any depth. They did seem to think the processing of the existing spoil at Trelavour was likely to bear fruit.

Makes ESG sense to increase the value of the commodity inside the country, whilst providing employment, satisfying the in-EU material requirements for home produced batteries and avoiding unnecessary transport cost and pollution.

Anyone who thinks their investment wasn't going to be diluted before this went to production shouldn't be investing in this type of stock and obviously haven't done their 'research'. It will get further diluted long before we see the shiny stuff too.

I know a few people who have already had their shares sold and got payment.

I have to agree with all the posts above saying Russia would not entertain going into Czechia now they are in NATO. Complete rubbish MO.
There is no shortage of Lithium, it may take a little more time if some resources are closed to the West but there is plenty of it around. If Russia and China started playing silly games their supply from Australia would be shut down and re-allocated.

My guess would be, if there is anything worthwhile to report they would release the Carnkie results separate from those from United Downs.

That makes sense. I was just thinking that the area is on the map but not highlighted. I didn't consider they had only shown the South Crofty project, although I would have expected it to come under the same umbrella.

According to that map, they don't own or lease the rights to the sites they are drilling in Carnkie.
Do you know who owns the rights?
Also interesting that they own the rights to an area of Carn Brea that came up for sale recently, I seem to remember the property came with mineral rights, but the price may have suggested otherwise.

They have finished drilling the second bore and have moved the rig over a couple of fields to the third site.
