Bethell, the junior health minister says that the UK diagnostics industry will supply tests for the UK and international needs for years to come.

Twatcher, the original post to this thread was yesterday. I am not changing the subject- it has evolved many times since then. I was responding to your pathetic attempt to downplay the facts as presented to the House of Lords yesterday. It will be available on Parliament TV soon I expect. The facts are 1. The government has encouraged 3 named British firms including ODX and others, unnamed to build a capacity for delivering 20 million tests a week by years end and 15 million a week now. ODX has a capacity of 100 million tests a year.
It is likely that ODX will feature front and centre in the government plans going forward. This is taking into account the investors presentation in July which most lths attended. We are on the cusp of big news. Buy now or pay more later.

Just as many of us assumed rightly months ago- free testing will continue for as long as we need them. And now we know that ODX will be featured large as a part of that Winter Plan.
