I am along right now yeah. You are lying when you said that Mologic haven't applied for the professional test. They have and they are under evaluation. Update 30th September. In process.
The Surescreen update is very positive of course.

An absolute shed load of Chinese tests have been rejected.

I will be tweeting about this anyway. The great news is that sensitivity and specificity criteria are easily exceeded by the ODX Visitect test under evaluation for self testing by the EU. The other good news is that the paper was published in July. The quarterly update should be due anytime now.
I see Surescreen withdrawal as extremely likely to be associated with a business decision regarding challenging supply side issues in the light of demand for 14 million tests a week by the UK government which they are aiming to achieve by December. At the moment Surescreen only have capacity for 7 million a week. Surescreen can't have 'failed' anything here. They have sensitivity of 97% vs the requirement for 90%. Specificity is also higher than required. They need help supplying the UK government. We are invested in a fast growing medium sized company atm. That's why we will make a great return. Neither Surescreen nor ODX are juggernauts atm. They will expand as fast as they can. Trolls will manipulate anything and everything -suggesting a decision to focus on a highly lucrative UK order, tangible and in the bag, implies a failure, shows a complete lack of business literacy. Or. An attempt to manipulate others.

Twatcher, those are irrelevant 'facts'. Here are relevant facts:
1.The paper refers to professional tests. It's nothing to do with self tests which are specifically excluded from consideration.
2. Surescreen easily exceed the sensitivity and specificity targets.
3. Surescreen is not ODX, the company we are invested in. ODX also easily achieves the EU sensitivity and specificity criteria stated here, which is great. ODX will pass the self test requirements with ease if these are the baselines.
4. Obviously withdrawals are included in this list just because the list doesn't offer the level of transparency about why a firm has withdrawn it does recognise effectively that some firms have not completed the process.
Here is an irrelevant fact. You are trolling this board and you are a very sad human being.

If the data was not submitted it's incomplete Twatcher. Plenty of firms don't follow through with applications for regulatory approval. In the FDA template this is transparent because its indicated with an asterisk. If they decide not to progress an application because they have too much UK demand that's a very reasonable business decision for Surescreen.
Evaluations for regulatory approval ain't cheap. They get a contract that far exceeds their capacity then there's no point them progressing another major expansion atm.
The requirements for sensitivity is only 90%. Surescreen exceed this easily and so does ODX.

I think ODX will be helping out with the Surescreen order from the £374 million contract and I strongly suggest that the reason they are going for EU approval for their self test- not even referenced by the paper Twatcher has shared, is because they want the private market required to support international travel. I also think most long term holders have their eye on the prize here and won't be selling any time before news.

Interesting that Twatcher is sharing data that's a little bit irrelevant trying to imply something that's not there. Top of page 6, the approvals in this list only apply to professional use tests.

Interesting more broadly the majority of tests which have been rejected are Chinese tests. I see the US, EU and movement in the UK parliament today, calling for disinvestment in Chinese goods. About time the world took a stand on ethical investment. I think it's more to do with China testing new kinds of nuclear defence technology without respecting international agreements, than human rights. But hey. I will take that.
Surescreen may well have voluntarily withdrawn. They easily exceed sensitivity targets stated by this paper (90%) and specificity targets. I expect they will be busy trying to fulfil a pretty big UK order for 14 million a month when they only have capacity for 7 million. ODX may be in the mix unless they get better offers- from the UK airline industry.

We will soon have approval and massive sales will follow. Trolls want it both ways. On the one hand they say there's a shortage of tests and we can't sell tests in a pandemic and on the other they say there's a massive surplus.
The reality is that airlines in this country are desperate to get back on track. We had 60 million passengers last year, mid pandemic and 296 million in 2019. We will continue to rely on testing in hospitals, care homes, schools and universities for the foreseeable future. The day ODX approval lands, which will be soon because we are now in week 6 of the EU evaluation process, is the day that we double this sp. Double again when orders or the government contract lands imho.

Selkent are a distributor Hedgefun. Flowflex were approved ages ago through the NHS only. The distributor is maybe just getting their site ready, the same as Screen4 have a 'coming soon' qualification for the Visitect test. Not a very good deramp hey?

Shapps said this is due in days and that they are waiting for providers to scale up. 59.5 million passengers flew from the UK in 2020. Pre-pandemic 2019 there were 296 million. Winter sun bookings are up 400% from last year and they say that the recovery from covid is well underway with the promise of lfts to replace PCR on day 2 of returns from trips abroad. That's going to be one of our commercial markets people! Retail cost is approximately £30.00. This share just got more valuable than we ever expected. Been a long wait but should be so worth it.

They submitted the final data from a new self test study using pre-filled buffers, from Ulster University on September 7th. They had submitted earlier assessments in July. This is week 6. We are meant to be expecting a decision any time now.
