Well that's cleared that up. FoI was wrong. Glad Walbrook have responded. They aren't allowed to lie to the market as we all know.
FOI requests are picked up by busy junior civil servants much of the time from my knowledge of this. They won't be spending a lot of time trying to bottom out complex arrangements.
In the meantime, this is the week that we are supposed to get an announcement about lateral flow tests to rescue the airline industry. Shapps says they are waiting for test providers 'to scale up'. Keep your eyes on the prize guys!

The BBC interview is hugely encouraging. The DoH are talking intensely to the 'testing industry' and an announcement will come in days. Shapps has emphasised in both interviews that we can go down the lft route now because of the level of vaccination we have achieved. Looks like that's what they were waiting for? So either we get the RNS first or we get the heads up from Javid next week by the looks of it. GLA.

The story is in the Washington Post, New York Times and the Wall St Journal now. The WSJ says tens of millions of tests will be hitting the streets within weeks. Mologic are being sponsored on the NiH programme to the tune of $11 billion. No way they won't be in the mix for this. Three different lfts approved at the last FDA update are NiH sponsored tests. Smell the coffee guys and gals. Bin the trolls. You know who they are. They will say your confidence if you let them.

Firmer prediction now that lfts will replace PCR tests in time for holiday makers returning from half term holidays. Approval must be due very soon to give them time for distribution. Orders from IAG, Ryanair, Easyjet to follow anyone? I should co-co! :)

The airline industry is poised to buy lfts approved for home use. The reporting environment is being prepared for by new commissions (on bidstats ) to extend the existing architecture for results of lfts to go nationwide.

Loved the Mologic video shared last night. The test is under evaluation in numerous countries worldwide. The leads from the FIND research are senior specialists from all over the world.

Well the only companies awarded lfts contracts on bidstats are ODX, GAD and Surescreen. Needs double checking.

GDR don't have lfts and Avacta isn't really in the running. Trolls are too sad for words.

Is Spacetec a bot? If not that is really bad writing. I think he's saying that Surescreen are providing 14 million tests a week. The press release says they are supplying 7 million out of 14 million a week. Which is why many people are speculating where the other 7 million might come from. My guess is GAD and ODX. The only other UK diagnostics companies who have been promoted and confirmed in DHSC press releases as having been awarded massive contracts.

Sir John Bell hasn't done too well with his predictions so far has he? Even about the things he has direct control over like approving tests. Literally everything he said came to absolutely nothing- antibody tests would be game changers. Followed by, not so much. Last interview I saw him do with Kirsty Wark he was pontificating about what British diagnostics would do post pandemic with billion pound surpluses. Before he managed to oversee a spend on Chinese tests big enough to buy the Gt Wall of China.
A year later looks like ODX will finish first for British diagnostics. But not with any dedicated professional support from Sir John Bell as was promised by his role. I think he quite likes the limelight. He'll be doing the chat shows right up to the time that his phone gets searched alongside Han****'s. As required by the most recent court hearing initiated by the Good Law Project.

Maybe a good time to buy back tomorrow?

Bradshaw is an opposition MP on the backbench atm. He is a great Labour MP but he doesn't know anything about which tests we are buying because it isn't the same company supplying PCR and lfts. As every investor here knows.

Certainly there seems to be a spate of challenges in the macro environment at the moment. Will China allow Evergrand to fail for the sake of £300 billion? Doesn't look like it with their early moves
Here at home we have the C02 shortage (resolved already) and a labour shortage leading to all kinds of shortages and inflation.
Reasons to get spooked? Or reasons to buy in days or weeks before massive transformational news for this firm? One way we tackle labour shortages is by getting more of the workforce working. Reducing sickness. One way we get growth going is by getting our big industry back on track. The airline industry will be getting back to speed this year. With ODX lateral flow tests by the looks of it. I am buying this week. Again.

You're a bit out of date Dave77? Analyst just tweeted in Guardian Live that China have moved- £19 billion to Evergrand to support liquidity. Evergrand shares bouncing like a rubber ball. It shouldn't create much contagion outside China anyway should it?
And in the meanwhile we need lateral flow tests to get our travel industry flying again. Otherwise there really will be contagion! If that whole industry goes down. Oh dear. So it won't. People are lining up to go on holiday at half term. Shapps says the 'private sector ' is working hard to get the tests ready. I will be tweet about it later.

We've all seen the site Bigbangs. It was shared here yesterday. It says 'Rapid Antigen test: Coming Soon'. Tests will have to be ready and distributed to every UK based airline before half term I would think. Since the government wants them ready to order for passengers by then. Some travel agents are reporting bookings up 200% on Friday- the day of Shapps announcement. I would stop messing about with the day trading- you know who you are. We all probably know who you are tbh. Get in. News will land in days and then the market makers will stop indulging the day traders and the little shorters.
