Thx Sillies. UK diagnostics I can see on the list are Fortress, Surescreen and Mediport. Mediport looks like the most likely to me. They are smaller than the other 2 and they have already got a loose arrangement with Abingdon Health. But it could be we'll work with more than one company. There's also speculation starting from David Evans, one of our very big shareholders, that Ciga are about to be approved soon.

Yep. And the CBI are joining Jeremy Hunt in calling for test to release to replace isolation to be brought forward for everyone. Lots of test positive news today. As soon as approval lands for Mologic and/or the contract is confirmed with one or more suppliers for the DHSC that news has a solid context for us and we're off to the races.
Neale Hanvey MP has also tweeted that his blog was pulled from the Scotsman today. So it has to be some legal threat there. It can't be libel because the FDA recall is in the public domain. So I wonder whether it's a commercial legality? If the government can't respond to the criticism without compromising market regulations assuming they have a response which undermines Hanvey's argument, then you can see why the Scotsman would pull the blog.

He's also said the government are rolling out the vaccine pass which records vaccine status, negative test results and or proof of immunity. Looking very good for UK diagnostics assuming they actually start giving some contracts out which they have said repeatedly they intend to do.
Self isolation to be replaced by daily lfts and a PCR to confirm positive cases from mid August and before for key workers. Looks like that will have to include shop workers, lorry drivers and the food industry as a whole.

The covid pass is of course, proof of vaccination, a negative test, or proof of immunity. Looks good for antibody tests too!
