God people are talking nonsense here. The government haven't spent £35billion on tests. The budget was vastly underspend and has been carried over to this year because testing is meant to support us back to living and isn't needed as much in lockdowns. It's now that we are doing a million tests every day and it's now that we need to rebuild testing capacity. BBC news featured this last night. And I shared the link to the NHS test and trace evidence to the Public Accounts committee on July 8th where they explained about the underspend and the carry over. This will recover today. We knew Innova had an extension till August.

It's been previously announced. They extended this till August. That should be the end of Innova. The answers to parliamentary questions are all consistent with CK's answers at the investors presentation. They have introduced ODX to several approved suppliers and expect to see an agreement reached with Omega to manufacture lfts. Should happen this month.
And has anyone noticed that the MHRA have changed not just the standard for specifications for tests now but also the process? They are checking the data through a desk based review. Lots of credible data being shared by the researchers on Twitter about Porton Down using buffer agents mixed with saline from animals. That's why Mologic asked for an independent evaluator and threatened to sue. You would think Porton Down would have realised maybe the reason there was a discrepancy between their checks and every single firms submissions wasn't because firms were all exaggerating their achievements it was because there was a problem with their review methodology which was corrupting the samples. The bloody arrogance of it. We could have been approved 5 months ago if Porton Down had bothered to question themselves a bit. Or even just to look at international comparisons in evaluation process. I am fed up with the useless so and so's.

Genbody were on the same NiH fast track US government sponsored programme as Mologic. Mologic's test were assessed by NiH to have higher sensitivity and higher specificity. Only a matter of time guys and gals.

We aren't waiting for the government to decide which test to produce anymore. We are in direct talks with several approved test suppliers (see Investor's presentation 13th July). CK says he is keeping options open so that they can get the best option or options. He said he is going 'as fast as is humanly possible'. They have already set up tech transfer for all of them to reduce the schedule between the order and completion.

We are moving to daily testing to replace isolation. It's in the Summer 2021 plan. That was the original idea before the second lockdown which they decided had to happen because of the Kent variant taking off at the start of the vaccination programme. Johnson has already committed to opening up on 19th. Another lockdown won't be good for us as investors or for anyone. A quick recap on the key news from the presentation:

They have a number of disputes which are well publicised with China over cybersecurity, IP etc. Nb. They have recalled Innova and Orient Gene.

There are a few juicy ones Sledgey. Last year he shared a post from Richard Tice (UKIP). The data had been manipulated which was demonstrated with evidence to the real reports. That summary really isn't the big story. Everyone should take enough interest in their own investment to listen to the whole presentation. The big takeaways for me are that ODX are talking to 7 countries with a keen interest in ABC19 and they are progressing registrations of the product with three who want to buy. *As Jenny Harries from the UK Health Security Agency and the new lead for test and trace explained to the Public Accounts committee antibody tests are now coming into their own as countries want to understand the impact of new variants on a vaccinated population. And yes, the UK will be spending the underspend from last year of £1.7 billion and £220 million for antibody tests.
The second big takeaway is that the DHSC contract is right on track. Talks are well underway with several different providers of approved tests.
CK is making sure he gets the best deal and keeping all options open.
And thirdly Visitect lft antigen test has been submitted to the FDA after completing the fast track, sponsored NiH (US Health service) programme. He expects updates to be available soon. Super duper. I tweeted about this earlier with an extract from the committee hearing. £1.7 billion has been added to the 2021-22 test and trace budget from last year's underspend for tests. The same committee heard Johnathan Mason, Director of Public Health explain about a range of pilots that have helped inform how to get more people testing. Jenny Harries, CEO of the new UK Health Security Agency will have responsibility for test and trace from October 1st until 'the foreseeable future'. Jenny confirmed that 25 million people have downloaded the NHS app. The future model for test and trace will focus on looking at the impact of new variants so antibody testing will come into it's own. They will be working more closely with the US on a Centre for Pandemics. The goal was always to build capacity for scale. Testing ain't going anywhere. Bought another 30,000 shares this morning.

Have a look. Continuing commitment to test and trace. I think this has been poorly interpreted and poorly communicated from our point of view. They weren't talking to ODX investors. The big story for ministers is that there's no more social distancing, masks and everything is opening up. Not that they aren't testing. They are testing. Twice a week in schools for secondary school kids and all teachers in all settings with lfts. The public encouraged to take regular tests. Businesses can use the NHS app if they want to. An announcement in travel coming this week.

Including those with PCRs- NCYT and GDR. And NCIS also down. He did name check genome sequencing so why are they down when they have a deal with AstraZeneca for genome sequencing? Back to sentiment thinking it's all over.
