Hey deerhunter, do you know what price control is? In the context of a nationalist government? Either they sell at a lower margin or they won't sell. The US have made their market too tempting by subsidising labs with an expensive incentive scheme. Makes firms lazy. Probably explains why India have cracked on with getting approvals done and the FDA have been snowed under.
Let's hope Budd reflects over the weekend. A bird in the hand and all that. If they scaled back on margins and went for it at scale they get themselves noticed. The fact that they are 'exploring the opportunities ' suggests to me that they are looking at precisely that.

For sure. This share is heading for £2.50 minimum. Faster to make (one of the highest throughputs for manufacturing PCR according to the CEO), faster to process results. It will be a market leader.

If they RNS this today or Monday we will get over £1 for sure by Monday. Confidence back in the blink of an eye. Don't sit on your hands if you have any dosh. Sooner you get in the better imho.

WHO approval has completed it's first stage. They have requested some clarifications. I am emailing Walbrooke today to see how that is going. It could drop on Monday. Then things will happen in quick succession. EU, FDA and Genedrive will be one of the market leaders before we know it.

F458, got no crystal ball mate. That's why I ain't tweeted yet. Yesterday we had a decent volume for the first time in a while, hit 54p but mms didn't hold the price. We also had 4 times the buys to sells. Today more buys than sells. Suspect the bottom is 45p for a sell and 47 for a buy. I had a buy limit on yesterday for 30000 but they didn't take much.
If they announce the poc next week which is the last chance for Q2 as promised, we'll have a decent increase. As we know these things aren't set in stone. Should sort itself out in weeks not months. If we do get either WHO or FDA approval these prices will fade to grey in a nanosecond. I am putting another buy limit order on. Want to get my average down from 80p.
We could be selling in India, South Africa, Poland already. So no idea what to expect for the trading update. Crossing fingers like everyone else. Except Guy who is dreaming of 38p.

Rb08, wasting my time replying to this but hey ho. If you read the ECDC evaluation guidelines I shared yesterday you can see how irrelevant that RNS is. At the time of that RNS EU guidelines were still in development. The CE Mark is a prerequisite. Not the end of the process. That's why you all carried on holding until the trading update. Because you thought they had sales. I told you all at the time they could not without approvals. I sold at £1.33 and £1.44. I am no deramper. You believed that RNS. You should have got your brains into gear. Sorry. Of course Preefty is right. In the US labs can buy without FDA approval. But they won't. Why on earth would they?

We won't get too many sales in the US or EU NOW f458 or even just now, until we get approvals. The good news is
1. We are getting WHO evaluation as we speak. WHO approval will guarantee worldwide approvals and sales.
2. The FDA is also evaluating us now. They have withdrawn a number of tests recently. The market is getting less crowded.
3. We are on the UK framework. That could drop anytime.
4. July 15th is probably the end of lockdown and the beginning of 'living with covid'. Nadeem Zahawi at the Downing St briefing yesterday made it clear what that means. A resilient UK diagnostics industry capable of responding to outbreaks with surge testing and tests to replace isolation. Testing will support big sports and cultural events. Daily lfts will be supported by PCR for positive cases. Pcr tests will be routine for all hospital admissions and for international flights. Normal volume on flights will soon recover to well over 100 million even if it doesn't get back to pre covid levels any time soon.
The trolls and the traders have told us they are hanging on for a fantasy buy in price. They won't get it.
This is the bottom or near as damn it. A chance to stop moaning and get your average down so that when we do get the news we want, you are in a better position to make some money. Time to bite the bullet.

NB. The WHO applications pending aren't in alphabetical order. I wonder if they are in order of progress within the process? Desk assessment complete. And awaiting a response from the manufacturer.
