I don't think somebody interested in acquiring Amur would have to buy that many shares to succeed given the relatively low turn out the last time there was a vote. 20.56% of the available voting rights were exercised or 317,365,617. I suspect interest in what happens next will be an awful lot lower now that Kun Manie has been sold and the special dividend distributed. 100m shares would do it IMO. That's £200,000 to £250,000 at 0.2p to 0.25p to acquire a listed entity with somewhere in the region of $5m to $6m in the bank.

I think there will be an RTO but given the time it seems to be taking to materialise it wouldn't surprise me if it were a fait accompli.

True but the previous prices for most of the day we above the strike price for this large trade.

Doesn't really matter I guess. For every seller there's a buyer and whoever managed to bag 4.5M at that price is a very lucky person indeed. In fact whoever managed to offload that many in one go at that price is also very lucky.

The consolidation bit I get although that's a preference thing for a lot of companies. I'm not so sure a raise will be necessary straight away. Depending on what, if anything, they RTO with the Amur money left in the bank might be sufficient to move the new venture on to where it's trying to go. At the very least I would expect them to "leg up" with the residual monies before any future fund raise.

When you start to produce revenues and there's FCF that's when you'll see value. That's assuming, of course, that we get that far.

I presume that's Atlantic Lithium? If you're looking for exposure to an interesting lithium play that's funded and on track have a peek at Andrada Mining (ATM). I was directed there by a friend recently and I'm quite taken by it. It would be good to have a few more inquisitive minds like you, pickedpeck, BwanaMakubwa, craigieboy1 etc. give it the once over because it sometime seems to me to be far too good to be true I end up wondering if I'm missing something. A bit like Horizonte in fact.

Interesting to note that Askari is in that list and they're up by 12%. They have more than just their Uis licenses so it may be as much to do with the other stuff in their portfolio.

i think euroz hartleys might have done a bit more than back of *** packet calculations. i've tried accessing their site to see if there's a document with a bit more detail but its a client only web site or at least that's what i found. i might try doing a bit more scratching around later today to see if there's any more information out there. i'll post here if there is.

It starts off with this:-

That’s got my attention. It then goes on to state:-

"So in essence, even a “small’’ discovery of a 10Mt resource (our big lithium deposits are 150Mt or more) is a serious value creating event.”

I presume the values quoted are AUS$ and not US$ since it’s a Stockhead article so adjust accordingly. Even after adjusting for the various other difference you’d have to conclude, on the above metrics, that Andrada is under-valued.
