If you'd been in Pure Gold you might be a little bit more circumspect about jurisdiction. Investing in Russia wasn't an issue before they invaded Ukraine. I presume you agree given your willingness to invest there before the war?

I think Amur and RY have had an awful lot of bad luck. It's easy to throw around insults and abuse after the event, especially when things haven't gone the way you hoped, but little or nothing has gone our way over the last several years or so. Grades and quantities never quite hit the heights we'd hoped, the nickel price cratered for many years, funding was impossible to get for a long period and when they did get funding they went for a vulture fund because PIs on this board and the now defunct Interactive Investor BB kicked up a fuss about the previous Lanstead Capital funding arrangement. At the time they didn't have too many options. Factor into the mix Rosnedra's stipulating a 0.4% cut of grade and the goal posts were moved against us yet again. Then the war came along.
I think Robin Young would be taking it in the neck no matter what he did. Expectations for Kun Manie amongst PIs for many years were far too high. When Red Lee and Vertigo, two very knowledgeable investors, were advising caution here they were ignored at best and, in Red's case, abused at worst. The fact that we will get at least 1.8p back plus another throw of the dice is an awful lot better than many junior explorers/miners on AIM. I'm not suggesting for a minute we should be grateful for that the disappointment far outweighs that. The recriminations in my opinion, however, are misplaced.
