They've included directors shares in the other shareholders total then after that they've miscalculated the percentages. the figures should be:-

Shares in issue - 1,379,872,315 - 100%

1) Nominee Accounts - 1,089,713,829 - 78.98%

2) Other Shareholders - 269,117,701 - 19.5%

3) Directors - 21,040,785 - 1.52%

I'll ask them to correct the web site.

I don’t think so. The usual nominee accounts have gone up by about 32m since the previous update. These shares have either come from the “other” account or from the Euroclear account. I think Euroclear has gone down and I think the “other” figure has simply been missed this month (it should be 260,747,131. I will e-mail the company to see if I can get them to include this figure).

I think Euroclear was somebody trying to acquire a large position when the share price was below 2p. I think Amur is negotiating a sale, but I don't think it’s with the Euroclear nominee. I suspect the news leak might have come from Amur themselves to make it harder for the Euroclear lot to pick up a large part of the company on the cheap.

Of course, if you are the interested party Amur is talking with and you're being told its going to take £100m+ to get the company and it currently has a MC of £25m what would you do?

Also, I wouldn’t assume that the Euroclear entity has sold their shares. They may well have simply moved some into other nominee accounts to get back below the 3% threshold.

I think it's game on.

You can easily work out the "Others" total which is currently 269,117,701 shares.

What interests me is the Nominee Accounts and Others totals are more or less back to where they were when accumulation started back in August of last year. That coupled with some of the big movements of shares seen these past two weeks and it almost looks like somebody doesn't want to be out in the open. They've either sold or they've decided it suits their purpose to drop off the radar.

It's the future expansion of the resource/reserve and the potential to extend mine life that's the big unknown here and there will be that potential. Amur has already intimated that the full extent of the deposits have not been defined and the only reserves included in the TEO are from open pits. Nothing has been included to cover exploiting underground deposits that can't be reached via open pit.

That's the "morsel" Amur will leave in the pot for the buyer to ponder.

As you know the Mem & Arts deals with warehousing so if it is happening this really is a non-issue. As for accumulating on the QT, yes that has been going on but they popped their head up above the parapet in December so its no longer on the QT. There might be one or two associates hoovering up shares on Vlad's behalf, which I doubt, but if there is its only going to be a relatively small number. You can track unusual share movements if you look hard enough, especially with regular monthly updates, and the only unusual movements are the ones I've been highlighting.

Consider this. If Vlad were accumulating on the QT why pop up on the register now? Why not continue to accumulate in several sub 3% accounts? Why not just accumulate and not declare? I think what we are seeing in the Euroclear account is what he has legitimately acquired from willing seller since August of last year.

BB's love conspiracy theories and this one has gone into overdrive. The truth usually turns out to be far simpler.

That name's a blast from the past. Vertigo is/was a very knowledgeable poster. He's a mining engineer which made his comments and input invaluable. in fact I recall several years ago RY saying that after reading Vertigo's posts he started to wonder if their servers hadn't been hacked.

Unfortunately for us Vertigo went off to pursue what he felt, at the time, were projects with better near term prospects. From the exchanges I had with him I don't doubt he was right.

You can only describe Red Lee's comments as negative if you don't understand what he is posting. He' the only poster on this board with a decent understanding of how the finance world works and his attention to detail is unrivalled.

Instead of attacking the man attack the contents of his posts. He is alway unfailingly polite and always takes the time to answer even the rudest of posters. That's not somebody you want to deter from posting with slights no matter how unintentional.

I don't think so. I've been tracking share movements every month for the past 6 years. I picked up on somebody accumulating and the likely numbers of shares being accumulated long before Euroclear Nominees appeared.

Since you've looked so carefully at what IG Copper sold for can you confirm the extent of the studies done, if a TEO was submitted and how much of the resource/reserve was in the Russian categories B and C1?

The point I queried in your original post wasn't the amount Amur might get paid for the sale of KM but the time it would take for any deal to be agreed.
