Thanks MM.....but I am not that brave. I tend to bank bits along the way - it means I don’t make as much but I mainly don’t lose to much either! I haven’t sold any yet today, but I will sell some if it hits the figure in my mind. You never know what’s round the corner, so I like to enjoy today whilst preparing for tomorrow....

I have to admit my sharedealing account looks rather different to normal......never forget my first buy of over 10,000 shares at 6.38p on 3rd Jan.....not big money for some...but is for me. GLA.

Little did I know when I purchased back in early Jan........well done to Richard and whole team. Immense effort over the last few months. Well done to those who held for the news and let’s hope this goes on to make this virus far less severe for so many people. I suspect big production increases to follow with demand.

I keep thinking I am missing something here. Profitable even at these low oil prices with $20m cash in the bank and yet the sp is In decline.

The issue for me is what exactly is going to start to change sentiment here. The share price performance over the last few years has been shocking....although the exec awards seem to keep rolling in. Not seeing a surge in diamond prices yet either.

So yet more money and now no mention of these detailed discussions from a few months back for the last chunk of money. This company has no transparency with shareholders in my opinion. They just keep taking your cash......what exactly keeps being funded here?

It’s a really interesting debate - and I always try and look at both sides. I have previously admitted to being a LTH from 28p. I added at £2.19 in the week and then sold just a few of the extra at £2.90. I also posted recently that I expected there to be more stories, so am not surprised by anything this weekend and it’s partly why I sold some. I agree that there will be a need to put this right if there is firm evidence of wrong doing - but I am trying to compare with other companies who have been subject to media speculation, sometimes justified and other times not, such as Facebook. FBs stock went down on poor media to Mid 100s and it’s now about $250. So, the market can still move forward from issues provided the company puts right any wrongs. I believe Boo will come through this - and agree that they will be ensuring their supply chain is absolutely robust for their future. In reality, nobody can be 100% sure, but for now I am comfortable with what I have invested but will be watching closely.

SP dropping day by day. Will sit it out but not good to watch!

As a LTH I am surprised by the scale of the price rise this morning. Yes, I added at £2.19 yesterday, but I was expecting the news to run for a while. I cannot work out whether this is shorts closing, or a genuine belief that Boohoo will be able to clear their name and then support the supply chain moving forward, ensuring that any such malpractice is prevented in the future, and a belief that news is behind them. What’s the views?

Are you for real. I am holder. I do not want the price to go down! That does not mean I can only see the positives! It's called being transparent with your opinions. This needs to be thoroughly investigated. There will be more news. All IMO.

Yes, we need successful businesses. However, success does not come before basic human rights. Now, I am not saying Boohoo is guilty of knowingly having involvement, but that is what will be investigated now. Either way, the treatment of humans in this way (based on the media reports) is not ok by any company, successful or otherwise, British or otherwise.

I maintain what I posted last night. I am a holder and have been since 28p. Personally I don't think it's the end of the story - it rarely is. the sharks will be circling. I expect it to get worse before it gets better with the news. Some may have an element of truth, other stories will just be related and not connected to Boohoo. First and foremost, whoever is involved, this story, if true, simply cannot be allowed to happen.

My concern here, as a holder, is that journalists are smelling blood.....like sharks. One cut and they gather....they will be sniffing around everywhere for more news. I would not be surprised to see a Panorama production next. Still think it could be bumpy for a while. I think Boo will come through, but not ready to call up or down yet. AMM IMO.

All good advise here. You have regrettably picked one of the most unpredictable cycles to invest in. An additional challenge right now is that many, many firms are cancelling dividends and raising cash - just to be 100% sure they can whether any steep downturn over the next 6-12 months. Even those companies where people are saying ‘but they don’t need cash’. A diversified holding will help a little, healthcare, technology, food retail etc, but it’s a tough time to be picking winners. I suspect most on here, me included, would be able to share war stories of losses....and as annoying as it is, I certainly learnt from it. Many years ago had all my shares in one company, and I also worked for them, and I had more through a sharesave etc etc......and they went down 99%....I learnt a lot! I also learnt that a good advisor can be worth every penny.

Yup, it just needs the next news to stay above $26 as it does seem to retrace from the 26s every time.
