Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Well, thought I would check back in to see what was happening. I hold a few and will continue to hold. My comment to people here is be careful of agendas and remember it’s your money, so think it through carefully before deciding your next move and remember why you purchased.
When you read this it just reminds me of the scale of what is needed. Neither company can produce enough for the World demand, which does eventually drive price, even if people try to protect that from happening. All IMO. Let’s be honest, nobody could get enough gloves and masks, yet alone stuff like this. There simply will be very few options open in this space and I have faith SNG will be one of them. GLA.
I also think hat when RM signposted the SP rise as ‘reasonable’, he was sending a clear signal - we may be small but we are not cheap. They are 2 very different things! I believe he knows what’s likely to happen.
I agree. A bit like when people were calling for updates during the trial, let the SNG team get on with it. I rather suspect that they have all the engagement channels they require. They are not about to be caught sleeping at the wheel....they know what needs to be done.
I am very jealous. Even though I bought at 6p, I still can not afford such a car. However, a fair chunk of my investment is still in.....but the mortgage has to be reduced first! However, I still believe in SNG!
Want to see how desperately we need this - just watch the pictures coming in from the US. Shocking. Anybody thinking here won’t be a tremendous hurry to get this out, watch the news. Small scale yes, but this is a known drug and there are thousands dying every day. The world needs this on the front line....and quickly. Whether you like the share or not is your call, but we need this drug to help fight the battle. All IMO....I for one would rather know it was an option.
I think there will be some large ups and downs for a while, but in my opinion this will get to market in huge numbers. You can always tell a few have missed out......they don’t own, apparently don’t want to own, but post not once but many, many times about selling that stock they don’t own.....how thoughtful. Surely their life cannot be so empty that they have to resort to such activity to fill their day.....
Dave - agree. I wasn’t saying they should not have done it. I have been open with my position on SNG and just sit thinking how valuable it could really be. Surely we wouldn’t let one produced in our own country end up with no stock for UK patients.....
I seem to recall a comment that the company had started some stock production with the capital raise, but not sure if that was just conjecture.
Just watched the Sky News interviews. So the UK have purchased millions of vaccines that may end up the scrap heap - decision to buy probably the right decision under the circumstances so we can get running if they work. Now we also have something proven - small scale but proven. I sense there is a real appetite for a bigger trial. Likely more productive to do that trial in countries with bigger Covid numbers right now. But if the UK Government spend millions on something unproven, let’s spend many times that amount on something as proven as SNG001 before the Winter outbreak. The price may fluctuate over the coming weeks, but with little hope of a vaccine ahead of the Winter, surely even subject to peer scrutiny, many many countries will want a stock of this? If this was offered....how many would really say ‘no’. Surely that means the demand would be tens or hundreds of millions - way beyond the production capacity for SNG....so help would arrive. I could be wrong of course!
Yup. My motto is not to be greedy. Sure, it doesn’t make you as rich......but potentially not as poor too. Have sold a few of my original 6p purchase from Jan, just to make sure I can do something nice with it. I bought BOO at 28p originally too and was lucky to ride that....sold some but still holding plenty and topped up when it dropped to £2.20 recently. The flip side is I also had some howlers, but I have managed to control the losses somewhat. Bank some, enjoy it.....it’s only realised profit when it’s ready for you to spend.
Thanks MM.....but I am not that brave. I tend to bank bits along the way - it means I don’t make as much but I mainly don’t lose to much either! I haven’t sold any yet today, but I will sell some if it hits the figure in my mind. You never know what’s round the corner, so I like to enjoy today whilst preparing for tomorrow....
Little did I know when I purchased back in early Jan........well done to Richard and whole team. Immense effort over the last few months. Well done to those who held for the news and let’s hope this goes on to make this virus far less severe for so many people. I suspect big production increases to follow with demand.
I keep thinking I am missing something here. Profitable even at these low oil prices with $20m cash in the bank and yet the sp is In decline.
The issue for me is what exactly is going to start to change sentiment here. The share price performance over the last few years has been shocking....although the exec awards seem to keep rolling in. Not seeing a surge in diamond prices yet either.
