I would grab the money out of your trading account ASAP before you find the trade did not execute properly!
Admin RNS out
FCA called the suspension. Think they got fed up of waiting for the company to do it themselves!
Could it be shorts closing? Not much point waiting for the extra 1p is there!
It’s certainly going to cause some waves through the commercial property market. Pity they couldn’t find a way through, but this model is sick right now, the internet had already put it on the ropes and Covid has just landed the final blow. I wonder what the future will hold for all this space.
Maybe a 7:30 RNS coming?
Here is the thrust of it - Since that update, discussions have continued with the intu Group’s creditors in relation to the terms of standstill-based agreements. Unfortunately, insufficient alignment and agreement has been achieved on such terms.
Update on their website. Not looking good I’m afraid.
The reality is that these situations rarely end well for equity holders, especially PIs. Bond holders often end up ok. That’s not being negative, it’s just reality. Maybe the ‘punters’ will get a little if it is saved, but I would think long term holders will see a horrible dilution if the best case scenario plays out. It’s just my opinion, I only had a tiny punt today at 4p in case the government wanted to help try and save the retail experience right now, but my eyes are 100% open as to what could happen. Not an expert, just saying how I see it. That said, I wish everyone in this good luck, especially long term holders as it’s a horrible way to see money go.
Share can be suspended at any time, if that is what happens. If no need, then simply an RNS and trading continues, although likely there would be an incredibly long auction whilst news was digested.
Watching this closely but don't agree with that comment. Check out the Wirecard fluctuations ahead of insolvency. Crazy ride. Still have to be careful. I think this is a 50/50. They need to be able to articulate a compelling turnaround story that would surely have to involve some sales and alternative uses as the traditional Retail bricks and mortar model is only going one way from here. So, a much slimmer company with a clear USP. Just IMO and I could well be wrong.
Interesting. You think they would step in with a premium even at the current price with the current news? I would think they would sit and wait a while yet. Suspect they would wait for a distress call and then really squeeze the price. Why risk another 90% at the present time?
I am waiting for something positive right now. Junk bonds are still being bought, but with a second wave building momentum I am not ready for this level of risk at present. I am struggling to find some positive news that will help CCL right now.
I am but an amateur at this, but right now it’s the news about Covid that’s giving me the predictions I need. Infection rates, vaccines, quarantines, back to work plans etc. ...all providing the direction of travel if you pardon the pun. Actually, that is a stance I have maintained for some time with this stock.
Not good news from the US around quarantine In NJ/NY/CT. It’s accelerated drops today in this sector, some of which is since the UK market closed. Right now, I am expecting a further drop tomorrow. Second wave is causing great concern. I am a holder, and will add on the dips as and when it feels right.

Not sure if this has been posted re the vaccine. I know it’s a different product as it is a vaccine, but interesting how direct to the lungs again seems the way forward. Massive bonus that this method can be self administered. Anyway, sitting tight and waiting for news on SNG. I know they will be working as quickly as possible to ensure there is no holes in their research.
It’s a very interesting position. I had sold out 1.8 but nibbled at the 1.6 today as it’s probably on a knife edge. The tribes want it legalised, but in a ‘controlled’ way through tribal casinos and racetracks. So, they are not opposed, but want it their way. Looks like they have a week to find a pathway through this. CA needs the revenue. Either way, the racetrack point is what has made me buy back here. If it does get postponed, the tribes apparently have to get all the signatures on their petition again - some 1m of them for 2022 which will cost time and money.
