Even if you recognise the way social media can grow followers and potentially brand awareness quickly, the distribution and supply chain set up costs are gigantic, not to mention marketing. All of that has a knock on impact to base costs and thus there is a reason nobody has been able to copy Amazon, and as far as I am aware they make basically....very little...apart from happy customers most of the time. The other key point here, is that I would assume the Exec team are spending a big chunk of time looking into the future using their rather valuable data. These days, if you build for today it’s sometimes too late by the time you get there because of the speed of change. Data of consumer behaviour is power....and companies like Boohoo have masses of it now. Data is half the battle in predicting the future....you can see it play out before many others.

I am with you Jay. In fact, strangely, the extension of the Furlough scheme puts some more money back in pockets for longer. Yes, the flip is other businesses on the brink....and there are a lot of them. Terrible times, but because of the make-up of this particular business I don’t understand the doom for this particular stock. I am not saying the sp won’t go down because this market is unpredictable right now, but this is an e-tailer I am ok to hold for now. It’s all IMO and nothing more than that.

I agree with the comments. Have always been quite accepting of our timelines and have been here since Jan. I am not a medical expert, so I accept my comments are my own and not those of an expert. If a vaccine can get to market in a matter of months, then it strikes me the risk of IfB that has been around a lot longer must be somewhat accepted. I would hate to imagine a situation where treatments are used with no understanding of the risks, but I also think SNG001 is one of the very few treatments available that might just save you from a very, very bad medical issue. If it was a case of hope v no hope, then for me it would be.a very easy decision. Frankly, I would want my local chemist to be able to dispense it, and quickly. Every day now I hope that SNG gets the green light for an exceptional approval. We need something that gives hope at a time when all the other predictions look very scary. If you were going into battle would you ever turn down something that has been proven to help, even on a small scale. If it was that....or nothing.....I know what I’d take. GLA and stay safe.

I would say yes. Actually, I am surprised they have not asked you to compete it already as it’s all held under Nasdaq now I think. If you call or live chat with them I think they can do it over the phone, or it can be done via an on-line form that they can mail you. I am buying more too, although a little surprised to see it so low, even with everything considered. I would expect there to be a lot of States that will look for ways to drive tax revenue.

Yes, you can use HX. However, you will need to complete some documentation first that confirms you can trade in overseas US stocks. This can be done electronically if you get in touch. The only other thing to remember is that exchange rates come into play, but I think the transaction itself is quite simple.

Agree. My purchase was on the 26th August 2015. Been one of my better performers over the last 6 months. See no reason to change my stance on it.

Only skimmed them, but read like a promo article for clicks v bricks. It’s clicks all the way for me. Boohoo has the right model at the right time IMO.

ZK, interesting thinking. I personally enjoy both sides of the argument on these boards and think it’s important to get a balance. The reason I disagree with you is because of the extra shift from bricks to clicks to help offset. Also, the price point appeal. Time will tell.

Hi all. Don’t post much here but pop by occasionally and have been around since 28p days. It has been an interesting ride over the last few months and I have added.
Yesterday I visited a large UK outdoor shopping centre. Interestingly there were already queues outside some stores, due to the restrictions on numbers permitted inside, and this is before Xmas shopping kicks in, however subdued that might be this year. So, people stood outside in masks..........this is not a dream experience in my opinion. Even Mrs Tricky decided it wasn’t worth it. I see on-line being a big winner this Xmas and Thanksgiving Friday, and that is on top of the existing growth. Very happy to be holding Boo. I personally believe they will come through this. It’s a very well oiled machine. I am not saying it’s perfect, but I sure would not want to hold much bricks and mortar retailing right now. Good luck all.

I have held since Jan and very much believe in this, but only I can make the decision whether to hold, add or sell. Remember, only ever invest what you can afford to lose.....and not a penny more. I s Draftkings has announced a $1bn offering for general corporate purposes. Maybe about to buy some competition.....That is a lot of dosh!

We are going to stay here and we are going to open strong and big. 8 months ago we finished the biggest year.

I get the sense he feels pretty hard done by as an industry. A lot of precautions taken and yet still tough rules for them to operate.

Interesting stuff......worth a watch if you can.
