The new buyer would want Rosgeo on board.
That way they get a clear path to licencing and geological information etc, etc for the entire period of joint ownership.
Any buyer would want Rosgeo on board long term IMO

Agree, but as co owners, they will be fully in the loop of the deal being discussed.
Therefore they may, as you say, agree to take shares in lieu of ownership, knowing the agreed sale price per share is £xxx.
Tidy way to relinquish ownership and profit quickly without costs and time constraints in trying to negotiate with the new owners.

Good morning.
Having re read the RNS explaining the reasons behind the planned EGM, I would totally agree with your idea, that basically it is all about securing the outstanding share ownership for WK and MT.
All makes perfect sense for a clean 100% sale deal, and saves the new owner having to negotiate with another party, being held to ransom on the outstanding rights.
I think the BOD have been asked to complete this in order for the full sale to proceed.
Let s hope that all shareholders have done the right thing and voted in favour of this resolution.
If so I expect an announcement to the conclusive full sale of EUA assets, by the end of April.
