Daytrader, sadly I am familiar with Sambailey's rants. I've been using LSE to click through this and other shares that I hold/am interested in, and have yet to read a positive post here. Pinch of salt springs to mind. Don't get me wrong, I've held some right dogs and I've become smart enough to learn that sometimes you've got to cut your losses and move on. Sam appears not to have worked that much out yet, if indeed this share is such a mutt.

The worrying thing for me is the latest RNS,, particularly the part that mentions their intent to increase meat supply from 2 sisters. Seriously? Considering the recent report on how they (2S) are clearly seen to be treating their food products? And why were they so "shocked" to see this report? Why is there no effective quality control management to oversee decent QC? Scary.

But I was in this one a while ago, I had bought in at an average of 62p and enjoyed the highs of 90p+ per share. Would have sold them and been nearly �2k up but hey ho. One of those ouch moments. Seems an age ago now but you live and learn. I did use our local Crawshaws shop but since 2 Sisters are in bed with them I won't touch them I'm sorry to say. It's a Shame that the Company is in it's current position as they were quite good up until 2S got its claws in.

You've put a lot of negative posts on here, Sam,, and I'm sure you've been asked this many times already, but if this share is as much of a dog as you say it is, how come you haven't sold up (if indeed you are actually a shareholder) invested elsewhere, and quietly sat back and enjoyed this company's demise?

A couple of hundred quid in here. Going to spend a couple of days watching S.P. To see where the dust settles. So goes up, confidence returning, sp goes down, a few more extra shares for my money. I'll be happy to put them on a back burner for a couple of years.

Is there anything to suggest flybe is going the same way as Monarch? I've not seen anything yet, but then again, I've only just started looking at flyb

As it goes, I'm getting to free up some funds I put away in a savings account next week, so iit would seem foolish not to put some of it Marston's way. It's been locked away for 3 years & I'll be lucky to get �350 from it. Interest rates for savings is bobbins atm, makes you wonder why people bother. Good for the mortgage I suppose, but then you can't have it both ways.

Get much lower than this can it? I'd understand it if there had been some internal bad news, but there hasnt. Still,nice top up opportunity, which I will be doing soon.

I think that it's good that debt is down a little bit, but think I'll hold off a bit before I look at dipping my toe back in. Not looking for a lower sp, but would just like to see a bit more confidence in them first I think.

I held this share a few years ago, and lost patience waiting for improvement, I was hoping that things had changed by now and reinvest here. It is a shame it is still appears to be in the same (gravy) boat, which is a shame really because I do like and buy their products, I just wish I had confidence in marked improvement after all this time.

I like Paxo Stuffing, Bisto gravy & Mr Kipling cakes, Rubenjames. Just a shame that this share is still no nearer to being able to pay a dividend after all these years.
