�74 worth of dividend i got yesterday, which got me 63 free shares. Happy with that.

The 1000 buy was mine. Just for a little punt, so let's just see what happens. I don't intend to buy any more, but only did so because Sambailey is still here, despite thinking they are shy te.

I meant to add as well that we were in Stourbridge attending a friend's wedding reception in June last year, and we all went into a Marston's pub in the area, (The Glassworks if anyone here knows it) and we had a fantastic meal (The discount card came in handy for that one) but it has to be said that the staff there were absolutely wonderful. This made me like the company quite a bit more for me.

Bamps. To me, it suggests that the company is well managed, if it can afford to maintain the current divvis. so no concerns there at all. Originally I had only bought 600 shares just over a year ago at �1.35 purely as a punt. That said, I added more back in October last year because of the trading update issued at around that time with good results. I think that with the sensible expansion plans the management has going forward, there is plenty of room for increased divvis, and better sp. In the meantime of course, I'm happy with current sp and divvis.

Ah, yes. I have to admit that I have dropped the odd goolie in some of my past share holdings, but this is one I think I have got right. I am very happy to be in here.

I bought mine in the back end of October, so I had just missed the last divvi. I had some savings mature, so I used some of that to buy in here. I got mine at �1.57, which I thought was a bargain at the time. I know that there are those that bought in at a higher price, but I'm sure there isn't too much to worry about. As I've said before, I think this is a good company, and this is a good time to add to one's holding it you are able to go take advantage of the drop in sp. Kind regards, Trent700

Jed51. I'm not sure which of my posts you mean, but that said I do feel quite fortunate to have had the funds to buy in here when I did. I think this one is quite a well run company, and have always received good service & treated well when I used to use East Midlands Trains to get to work. Plus, not only that Stagecoach are the main bus operator in my area too. Granted, the odd bus driver is a bit miserable, but most of them seem ok. I hadn't heard any rumours of a takeover myself, but would be surprised if that occurred due to how much it would cost, but then, weird stuff does happen. Not too sure I would want to sell to be fair, as I am quite fond of SGC. If I was offered a �1 each for my Lloyds shares on the other hand, if drop them like a stone lol.

My divvy is getting reinvested. I always do.

Thanks for sharing the info. Think I might attend the next one, nice little train ride to Wolverhampton would go down a treat.

But that said considering it is almost dividend payment day, the sp drop is good news in my view for those, like myself that likes to reinvest it within the business. A couple of extra shares at no extra cost are always welcome to myself. I have confidence in this company, and am happy to have a stake in it.

Also, it's always easy to buy any share at any time. Not everyone holds their chosen shares, always plenty of traders willing to sell.

There's no bad news I've heard of. Regarding, DRIp, (Dividend Reinvestment) you always have the option of holding your cash in your account and hoping to get a better price, that is of course an option, but a gamble which does sometimes work.

The obvious answer is that we are close to dividend payment day. It's normal for shares to drop a bit when this happens. Not a bad thing in my view for those, who like me reinvest it back in.

a while ago? I was sceptical of this at the time, but it looks like it's inching closer. I'd be happy to buy in it I see 28p
