Yes, I agree to some degree Londoner, but we can't assume that everyone is a seasoned trader/investor. Some of us like myself and no doubt others are and have a reasonable idea of what things are, and some might be fairly new at this and have only just started to dip their toe. Perhaps Lord might not have intended his post to come across as a little overly zealous but that might be how it could be interpreted by the reader. Just saying, that's all. This board is quite a friendly one, and if I have misinterpreted Lord's post apologies of course.

With Whitbread, I don't think we have that same option myself. Don't forget, they have Costa Coffee, Brewer's Fayre & of course Premier Inns as well so it would be easy for them to do that, whereas we only have our breweries & pubs. Yes we also offer accommodation but these are generally linked to pubs so I don't think that this would work as well for us. Just my thoughts of course.
