A good hypothesis, all of which makes perfect sense, but as I understand it, the spanner in the works for this is That Nigel Farage has supposedly spoken to the Italian PM (I think) with a view to blocking any extension, and he has agreed to do so. Politics being politics it's hard to say how much credence can be put on it though. If it's true & he does, then it is likely we'd be kicked out on our @rses at the end of the month.

That said, You really should look For Britain up and what they stand for and judge it for yourself. Personally, I'm bang up for throwing my vote their way, but that's just my opinion. You and everyone else will have theirs.

But what if, 17 & 1/2 Million leave voters do that as well out of protest, out of frustration of wherever else you want to call it.

What if another million remain voters vote them in for the same reason?

Then there are the "I couldn't give a $hit who gets in" voters. What if another 2 million of those vote them in just to waste their vote. That's nearly 20 million votes for one party. That would be one hell of a landslide. Then the proverbial would seriously but the air conditioning.

All that would happen is that the party with the most of the valid votes would get in. What if it's the Tories? More of the same old BS. Would be my bet. If it's the Lib Dems? Can anyone really see that? And I dread to see what would happen if Labour got in with "Abacus" Abbott controlling the Country's purse strings.

The best outcome in my view is.if.all of those people voted for For Britain as a protest vote, that would be far more interesting.

I wish I knew mate. My take on it is that the leftist luvvies have had too much of their own way and gone on unchallenged for far too long and now reasonable minded people are unable or feel unable to speak up. This in my view needs to change and quickly.

When I was growing up, I remember watching things on tv such as Love thy neighbour, (some on here might need to Google that one) and Til Death is do part, and of course others. Too many to mention. Really? Amber Rudd calls Dianne Abbott "Coulored" and she is forced to apologise for making a "racist comment".

I do review my holding quite regularly to check for issues that may give me cause for concern.

Only issue I have here with Mars is the debt pile, but this appears to be under control. Of course if that changes, then it's obvious what needs to be done.

But for the moment, my current strategy seems to be working fine for me.

Fairdealer. The cr@ppy share price isn't such a bad thing. I don't think so to be fair. Only reason for that is greed on my part. I'm rather fortunate in one sense, I do not need to draw the divvis atm, but I never know when that could change,so I reinvest them, and the low so means I get a few more shares, which of course means more free money at a later stage should I need it. Win win.

A bit harsh, that one Barchid, considering you don't know why people choose to invest here. There must be reasons why they do. Some might have an affinity for the company. Others may well work for them and therefore have a better insight as to how the company works, and therefore see things that outsiders like myself do not see.

Others may well like the dividend to top up their income/pension.

But to call them "Stale bulls" might be considered to be slightly less than generous.

The only.reason it goes down is I guess is because of the volumes of trades. It's not a bad thing in one way I guess if they get taken out of circulation quickly.

It was just a thought based on how the sp dropped after the last buyback. A bit of a gamble I guess, but oddly we seem to have gone up a tick. On second thougts, I think I'll hang fire a little bit.
