It has been argued that we have already left the E.U. As planned on the 29/03.

I understand that there is some bloke setting up a legal challenge on this extention to article 50, as procedurally incorrect and therefore illegal and is supposedly in the judicial machinery to challenge this in court. Check it out.

I'm looking forward to watching this with a certain amount of glee that a fair minded Judge presides over the case and rules accordingly if this is correct.

Some people on here may need to stock up on the popcorn.

It could be easy to reduce this headache.

A couple of things immediately spring to my mind which would help. Get the hell out of the expensive E.U. Club, £130 a month saved. Stop foreign aid with immediate.effect for starters. The Country is up to it's @rse in debt and the Government.is throwing money about as though we don't have a care in the world.

That's my view entirely. I get sick to the back teeth of those that bitch & whine on fakebook et al about how the mainstream politicians are shafting the electorate, yet when I ask who they voted for, they just say they "Couldn't be bothered to vote. They then get all outraged when I point out that their laziness is a big part of the problem.

Not mine either. Not based on their performance over the past 3 years.

Well, I was expecting a dip at the least but not to this level. Very strange.

Absolutely no idea Mark. Considering the last RNS there is no reason for it.

I know it spiked on the back of it, and to be fair, I was expecting some retrace, that was why I swing traded it so I could get some freebies. As I say, I got back in at £1.60 and I was half expecting a bit more of a drop, but to £1.55 as an absolute maximum.

I just can't see any justification for it to have dropped to this level. £1.53 as a low point for this share in my view is about reasonabIe. I just hope there is some kind of correction tomorrow.

Well here's the thing. I've had a bit of a soft spot for SGC for some time now, since my time working in Warrington and using East Midlands Trains to get to work.

I'd always been treated well by the on board train crew, who were always cheerful when dealing with me. Much more than beyond the corporate customer service BS. Plus they operate the bus services near where I live, and apart from the odd grumpy B'Stard, the same thing there too.

I have swing traded this one a couple of times to get some freebies but a good solid company this one in my view.

I did well here yesterday morning On the spike North at £1.66 to buy back again at tea time at £1.60 gaining another 66 extra free shares which I was happy with.

Until I saw today's drop to where we are now. Still. Win some, lose some.

Yes, you are quite correct Graybird. Some shares do have volatile spikes and this as you know makes it difficult to judge, but others have a bit more stability so can be judged with a bit more accuracy.

As I say, Stagecoach has been quite good to me in that respect.

In fact I've done it on SGC this morning. (Not anywhere near divvi date there) but I've sold there with a nice £150 profit on the back of a reasonably good update.

As most of you will know, these spikes rarely last too long and I've always bought bought back in once the sp settles back to where it was. This will have been the 3rd time I've done it there alone & got close on £400's worth of extra shares at no additional cost to me, which are of course contributing to the divvi pot alongside the original shares that I had bought.

It can sometimes make sense to sell before divvi day.

If the profit made is much greater than the dividend amount then it makes perfect sense to do it, then buy back in on the dip after it goes ex divi. The extra free shares then contribute towards one's dividend the next time round.

I've done this myself on a couple of holdings that I have where the profit made on a spike was more than I would have got purely on the divvi.

For Britain getting my vote.

I've bought 1500 shares & got them at 73p each. Let's see how we go.
