Hi Pillarts. No worries. I agree with you about not trusting our politicians doing the right thing. Time and time again you read/hear about them screwing the system to line their own pockets.

I believe that considering how much our Government has P1ssed & @rsed about over the past 2 & a half years that there is more uncertainty to come short term until T May comes up with a solid plan that the EU approves, which I'm not convinced is going to happen any time soon, or until Junker kicks our sorry @rses out.

I sold my modest holding for a small £137 profit, thinking that there is going to be a further drop because of this uncertainty, to which I will then buy back in.

As I understand it, there have been rumours doing the rounds that Liberty Global were supposed to be putting a bid in for ITV. This one has been doing the rounds for quite some time now but nothing has happened.

There's also another one going round saying that Immersat might be approached at some point. Hard to tell fact from BS sometimes.

Taverham, yes you have a point, The French & Germans are not exactly our best bison buddies. They never have been, that much has been certain for quite some time. I do not blame Teresa May for that.

She has a difficult job, because she has been left to clear the $hit that David Cameron has created and ran off like a coward from the day after the referendum result went against him. I do not blame Theresa May for that.

What I am blaming her for is her total incompetence in how she has conducted the entire Brexit process. She's
spent the last 2+ years buggering about kicking the can down the road wasting time. She has now had to go to Brussels like Oliver Twist with his begging bowl asking "Please sir, can I have some more".

On a more sarcastic note, as it happens I also have a holding in Marston's and it has to be said that I'm glad that Theresa May is not running it.

That's exactly right Avocet. Our weak willed PM has spent the last 2+ years messing about not knowing weather to scratch her head or her @rse. That's not the E.U's fault. It's hers. I've already said this, but this entire bloody mess should have been put to bed long before now. She has caused 2 years of unnecessary uncertainty by her dithering about.

I've done this with a couple of my holdings. With one of them I have gained over 200 extra shares by doing it. Mad not to.

I think some will swing trade it. Especially if they are currently in profit. Free shares are free shares.

As I understand it, an extension of any length is dead in the water. I read somewhere recently that Nigel Farage has spoken to the Italian Prime Minister with a view to block any extention.

Politics being politics, it's hard to know how much credence can be put on this, but if it's true, then Theresa May is f****d. And we'll end up leaving with no deal on the 29th.

Crowfart. That's exactly what should have happend. If it had, all of this bloody nonsense would have been put to bed long ago, We would have started negotiating trade deals by now.

I can see one of two things happening now. Barnier knows he has got May over a barrel. So he will either let her have an extension. For a price. Or tell her to work off. In his place I know what I'd do.

For once, I'm on the side of Junker/Barnier. I'm their place, I'd tell May to f**k off. She's had over 2 years to organise an orderly departure but she has chosen to kick the can down the road. There is now no road left to kick the can down. I'd be telling her to get on with it.
