LTI yes, I missed it. I misunderstood your post as well, I thought you said you were hoping to top up again at 49p. Apologies.

I still think there will be some small dip LTI. More to do with politics than anything else. Not sure at it going down to 49p but you can never tell but if you are looking to top up at that price good luck to you. I'd be glad to get back in at around the 59p Mark myself when my trade goes through on Thursday.

As some of you may know, I admitted to selling my modest holding in Lloyds with a small £137 profit last week.

That said, I took a bit of a chance in using the money in to buying into Inmarsat on Friday afternoon after getting wind of a takeover.

Anyway I sold them this morning, £160 up so I've got a trade plan going in for Lloyds on Thursday. So I've got some freebies coming my way. Just in time for divvi day. Result.

Crowfart, Harold Shipman signed it 6 times, Myra Hindly & Ian Brady 5 times each, Bob the Builder 8 times, Father Christmas 15 & Dianne Abbott tallied all the signatures up.

I am an average "C" grade student, but even I understood that that message implies that this is something we could spend that money on, just as how it could equally be spent on recruiting & paying a few extra policemen, or firemen, or teachers.

I just don't get how people can be so dumb that they cannot see the difference between something that could be & will be.

Just out of curiosity, I've had a look at the exchange rate for US$. $7.21 converted to £5.47.

Let's just see what happens. There may be another bid, the markets may anticipate this & drive the price up.

At first glance this looks like a derisory offer. The open market may take a different view.

If that's a serious question, you might want to look at Marstons, Goinglarge. Current sp is £1.02 paying a divvi with a current yield of 7.2. Just a thought. I'm in there myself.
