The longer MM holds onto the golden share and the longer he takes to appoint an independent chairman ... The more convinced I become that he is working , behind the scenes, to take THG private again.
He just doesn't seem bothered by the cratering share price - and why would he be bothered - the lower we go - the less, in theory, he needs to pay to buy it back.
With a 100% premium to Fridays share price he could buy his £5 IPOd company back for £3. That's got to be good business by any measure.
And for all those who say the big institutions won't allow it - they will if they retain their existing stake in the newly privatised company as the medium term plan must be to float in the USA.
So ....time to sit on your hands and watch the games unfold. Neither a buyer or a seller be (to misquote Shakespeare)
