....with the government set to make announcements regarding their adoption of AI ..... TODAY ....then I expect this to rally strongly ....

Why? Well everytime the phrase "AI" leaves Keir Starmers lips this seems to jump (like, for example, just before the budget statement in October) ....

AH has bet the house on AI and, at the same time, has moved close to this Labour administration (eg: attending AI dinner at Downing Street, using Tony Blair's sons company to run AI workshops inside Capita) ....

Any government push into the world of AI is CERTAIN to benefit Capita ....

I'm buying more .... Let the shorters burn!

@Rock & @Success - it's so nice seeing some sanity return to this board ....

Shorters calling for 10.64p as an entry point is just beyond ludicrous .... I know it's good to be optimistic and it's good to be cautious ... but I can't see any basis to expect a fall to 10.64p (not least we've got more than that as cash at bank)!

I'm heavily invested here too and I've been adding at these levels and I will add again if we drop further - but this last week the SP seems to have been bouncing along the bottom at 13.2p ...

Of course @JO managed to buy back in at 13.2p - well done - all those years as an investment banker are obviously paying off 😁🐖🐦

But for the rest of us, less experienced , mere mortals ...

The UK macro environment might be getting bumpier but - based on the levels we are currently at - I can't see that having a huge impact on the CPI SP

For the shorters - a double bottom at 12.48p might be theoretically possible but - with my tea leaves - I see a gradual rise back towards the 16s and 17s as we head for March results .....

THEN ....when AH over delivers on what he promised ... I see the SP gradually heading back towards to 20s+

The sooner we rerate the better as a) it will mean the trolls will vanish at the same time and b) @JO will execute his sell instructions right at the top of the market rerate!

It's been such a depressing week due to the constant trolling of Savage .... Even though I've got him filtered he's upsetting so many regulars on this board and spoiling the fun of share ownership for everyone.

@Savage - no need to reply with more of your negativity to this message as you are filtered so I won't see your response (and for that I feel better already)

@Trisor - I've filtered the Savage troll - life's too short and he only posts nonsense to wind everyone up.

It would be nice to leave this downtrend but all looking good here for the future ....and we I think a cash call is immensely unlikely with the Capita One money securely in the bank giving "optionality on debt".

I can't see it going much lower from here either and with an average of 23p - I suspect you are going to do very nicely here in less than 12 months!

@Aim - you are judging the movements in the share price here like a gambler and not an investor. Maybe Adam is 33% down at the moment - but this isn't the 3:30 at Kempton Park - and if it was - the race hasn't finished - the horses are still running - and the bets are still in play.

The question is: Will this be worth more than 13p a share in March, June or August 2025 or December 2025? At what point will we touch 22.3p again (12 month high) and will we still be holding when it does?

The gambler would have cashed in their chips too early (like most PIs) whereas the patient investor (think Schroders and all the other IIs) will still be holding when these hit a £1 again.

Too much gambling going on here and perhaps not enough long term investing!

@Adam - I don't think they will go much lower either - I guess a double bottom at around 12.48p is theoretically possible but I can't see it going lower than that (as we've got more cash in the bank than 12.48p per share).

Anyone waiting for sub 10p is going to be disappointed as I'm pretty sure this will get taken over if we ever dropped that low given the market capital will be less than cash at bank!

But with Capita anything can happen but I'm not influenced by the doom mongers here (most are filtered now) and anyone buying stock in the 13s here must do immensely well in any medium term time frame.

Adolfo did not leave a good job at Amazon, invest about £500k in Capita stock (including his tax liability) and build a world class team around himself ... To lead Capita into bankruptcy and insolvency.

Just hold that thought as you hold the stock!

@Capitalizer - yes the Savage troll has been greened out for some time now so I don't have to read or get tempted to reply to the complete drivel that is posted.

Surely we can't fall below 13p with the Capita One money in the bank and Rockwood on board .... time will tell but this just looks really good right now

I've been sat watching this all day and, unlike the mongers of doom on here (you know who you are), I'm of a strong opinion that 14p or less is a bargain for Capita ....

Yes ... I know the Marsh results won't be great and we won't see free cashflow until the end of the year etc etc etc ...

But with lumps of revenue, lumps of cash at bank and a world class management team .... 13.xp is just too cheap ...

So I'm in for 20,000 more shares and am now back at a holding of 1.35 million - 830k of which are protected in an ISA away from Rachel from Complaints.

I don't discount that this might fall further .... But then again it might not ... Either way ... It looks like an opportunity not to be missed!

@Aim - someone trying to stop the inevitable rise !

NI increases will cost cerca £20m a year but should be fully mitigated by ongoing cost savings

@JO - my comments weren't specifically aimed at you .... It was aimed at all those lucky traders on this and other boards who never seem to lose.... Like the majority of PIs (me included) ...

Their trades are near perfect and they have amazing foresight ... anyone would think they'd be retired by now ....

I was just saying it's worth taking their comments and near perfect trades with a pinch of salt!

Ha - if you read a lot of the threads on this and the ADVFN bulletin boards it would be very easy to convince yourself that you are surrounded by super impressive and astute share traders who make profit in every trade they make!

Very easy to make a profit by simply announcing it on the bulletin board but - assuming I'm not a total schmuk - in reality it's not easy .. otherwise we would all be millionaire Rodney ...

The thought to hold is that 80% of Private Investors (including me at the moment) LOSE money on share investment and I would think an even high percentage lose money in share TRADING.

So ... When someone brags they've made a load of money shorting into results, selling before results were announced, buying back after the share price has plummeted after results ....

I'd take a pinch of salt and avoid all those low flying pigs!

No one wins all the time at horse racing (or any other form of gambling) and share traders don't win all the time either!

@Culley - a few reasons why you might be wrong ....

1. This has been massively sold down. / Oversold in the silly season and is almost at all time lows.

2. All the bad news is already out there so as long as it doesn't get any worse I don't see why this should continue to fall.

3. The cash at bank after the sale of Capita One almost equals the current SP and the Capita Pension business alone is also worth the current SP or more.

4. Any positive news (like a contract win or two) will cause a quick rise

5. If the March results surprise to the upside then that would be well received too ...

I can't bring myself to sell any of these for less than 20p and it's only the traders playing around at this level ... Although I admit this is being heavily traded .

But on balance and on the known knowns .... I think the share should rise from here into results ... Whether it can sustain that rise will depend on what's said in March though.

@Aim - I would tread carefully here as the silly season comes to an end and traders return to their desks ....

We got sold down in Xmas week and it's been fairly stable over the last few sessions .... A bullish engulfing flag is being signalled at British Bulls if we cross the 14.02p price and this would switch their advice to BUY.

It wouldn't surprise me to see that 14.02p later today ... Only negative is that British Bulls are usually wrong with their calls in Capita (unlike you) ... So perhaps when they signal BUY we should all SELL 😃

@JO - yes indeed you did warn (in mid October) that Capita was looking overcooked as we hovered around 21p and with @Aim calling a double top .....I did follow both your leads and sold almost 500k shares.

However - beyond that as we headed towards the TU - @JO (and me) both believed we would return to the early 20s as the update approached (whereas @Aim was on the other side of the trade).

I know we both (@JO and me) warned @Aim that he was on the wrong side of the trade but ... As has now been proved ... @Aim was right and we were wrong and I'm totally OK with that ...

How @JO managed to escape though without any loss whilst I am sat on a stonking paper loss is beyond impressive ..

But as I said earlier ... Whatever .... Capita will come good again and I do agree that 21p / 22p is an area to be cautious rather than greedy ....

@Aim - I agree the near perfect trading of Capita by @JO is beyond suspicious as he was confident we'd hit 21p/22p at TU ...

However ... To be honest ... Life's too short and 'whatever' .... I don't see why people can't admit when they are underwater and the trade they expected had gone against them

Maybe @JO has now managed a 14p or less average due to brilliant trading but more likely he hasn't but I don't care ... Good luck to him ... A much smarter person than me!

I just say and held (also believing the TU would send the SP towards the 20s) again ... And I'm proud to announce I am sat on a stinking paper loss ,😃

@Aim - totally agree - nothing can be ruled out with Capita. I did think - with the latest director buying in the late 16s and the CFO having a stake around that price - we wouldn't drop much below 17p but I hadn't factored in a second punishment beating for missing revenue again and also a further beating when the full impact of the additional NI costs were assimilated.

However - at some point - this share has got to hit a purple patch - with the Woodford / Odey debacle, the cyber hack and the extra NI now behind us - I think we are due a little rub of the green.

Anyone buying and holding at these levels - with a little patience - are going to do very well.

@Aim - and hindsight is a wonderful thing!

The trade could equally have gone the opposite way and I would have been holding 25% less stock than I currently hold ....

It's like horse racing .... Very easy after the race has been run!
