@Trisor - I guess that the danger (ie price) as if the large IIs back the management buyout then the price could be quite low .

Private Equity would need to be paying 70p or more (because that is where the Schroder average is currently sat) .... But with a management buyout and a Schroder roll over ...

You could see it at sub 30p (valuing the company at about £500m) or even less .....

But with a current SP of 14p - a 30p buyout would surely look overly generous - so you've got to be thinking 25p. ...

I'm not sure who would stand in the management's way of they put forward a low ball offer and rolled in the IIs ...

Would welcome @JOs thoughts on this (as he's a more experienced banker than me 😃)

@Burgeseb - I don't think the posts were removed - they are under the heading of Adolfo being awarded more shares

A management buyout would not surprise me at all (with Schroders and a few others rolling their stake over into the private company).

Adolfo has surrounded himself with a trusted team and they all left Amazon to come here to get even more seriously wealthy (than they would have got had they stayed out).

If I was Adolfo .....I'd be looking for a management buyout (assuming the Government would allow the company to move into private hands) .,

@Trisor - I'd be happy for a takeover at 35p .....or even 30p at a push 😃

.... According to the RNS dated 19th March 2024 .... Adolfo was awarded a further 2.4million shares on 15th January 2025.

It will be interesting to see when the RNS to announce the award will be released and even more interesting to see whether Adolfo decides to fund the tax and NI payments from personal funds (like he did last time) or whether he sells some shares to cover the tax liabilities.

Back on 15th July 2024 - when his awarded shares last vested - we were in the closed period ahead of results so the vesting / announcement wasn't made until 5th August (from memory) ...

Not sure why an announcement hasn't been made - right now though - UNLESS they are working on something sensitive which means the shares can't be vested yet .....

I would have thought we would have already had the announcement on 15th January (when the shares were of a lower value and therefore less tax and NI were due) which suggests something is definitely brewing ...

Yes the RNS is correct. Sameer's son also works for Capita - he preceded Sameer. The listing rules require that share dealings by anyone related to a PMDR have to be reported.

So Sameer's SON is buying shares as part of the employee monthly share ownership scheme ...

That doesn't make any sense! Sameer maybe bought a few shares or was given a few shares .....but what's his SON got to do with it?

@Culley - I totally agree - AH during the Yellowstone presentation Q & A said we should expect some contract win announcements between 23/09 (day of the pitch) and year end .... Yet the silence has been deafening!

I was expecting something good to come out of the Government AI announcement (and maybe something good will come out of it) but nothing announced since.

I see the pipeline dropped from 5.7bn at Yellowstone to 5bn at TU but it's not clear how much of that 700 million (if any) was won by Capita!

Could definitely do with some contract news to set this flying!

@Aim - although the vesting of the next tranche of shares for AH are, from memory, due today so he may be keeping his powder dry so that he can separately pay the tax and NI charge - like he did last time ....

Interesting that Pablo hasn't added though as you would have thought he would have wanted to average down from 17p a share.

As I said ....didn't take @Aim long to start ramping again 😁

@Aim - it looks like the British Bulls Bullish Engulfing flag was correct and wise to close the short now ...

Now that we are on the rise again (and you are no longer short) we can expect NOT to see @Savage for a while and I assume you will start the ramping up again 😁

@aim - you might be right - but even with carnage I don't see huge drops from here (to justify an increased short position) but perhaps i am being blinded by the 1.3million shares that I hold here (and have no intention of selling at this ridiculously low levels 😁)

@Aim - I wouldn't get too comfortable... Bullish Engulfing flag on British Bulls signals BUY .....

I know they often get it wrong ... But we can live in hope!

@NoFear & @Aim - thanks for your detailed explanations.

It's just that @Savage has taken over this board and, combined with @Aims well publicised short (and her wish to see the price fall further which is giving @Savage oxygen) its pretty tiring for anyone holding any stock here!

Maybe we were all idiots investing in CPI but for a lot of us LTHs (me included) that time has past and the investment decision has been made and no amount of negativity is going to change things now.

The news that has come from the company across the various recent half year reports / Yellowstone / TUs have been broadly positive or in line with what the LTHs had been expecting so we don't want or need the diatribe of drivel from @Savage ... or indeed anything that gives his drivel any oxygen.

I'm convinced that the patient investor will be rewarded handsomely here and I've put my money where my mouth is.

If I'm wrong .... I'm wrong .... But so is AH and Pablo and Sameer and the rest of the CPI board too ..... and you will see me stood next to them, saluting, as the CPI share sinks into oblivion!

@Rock - it's a pity we can't get admin to stop Savage posting here as - even if he told me the world is round - I wouldn't believe him anymore .....

Verbal diarrhoea doesn't begin to describe Savage ...

@Macy - at one point I feared we would have more posts than trades ....

So much rubbish being posted on here now (even by my old friends Aim and NoFear) .....

It's getting to the point that we are going to have to filter Savage and Aim and NoFear if we want sanity to return ....

Which is a shame because Aim and NoFear have historically offered some good insight / advice here but continuing to add and support Savage is not enhancing there credibility (in fact quite the opposite) ....

@JO - ha I wasn't accusing you of making it up .... Just being sarcastic really in that people (like me) spend a great deal of time watching the SP and we weren't able to catch the 13.2p price ... but you did😁

@JO - I use AJ Bell and the spread has been pretty solid around 13.22p / 13.3p for the last couple of days and, right now, is showing 13.28p / 13.4p

No automatic (A) trades so far today ... I wonder what that means?

@JO - I posted the comment because although the SP.has been hovering around 13.2p for a while now ....it's almost impossible to BUY at that level .... Plenty of opportunity to sell but, with the spread, almost impossible to buy.

As a case in point - I bought this morning when the sell was quoting 13.22p and my buy (shown as a sell on LSE) was at 13.33p.

My point was simply it might have touched 13.2p to buy maybe once or twice in the last few days .... but us mortals weren't able to catch that drop ... we needed the experience of an investment banker 😁
