@Trisor - Ha - by the lack of RNSs here it wouldn't surprise me to learn that the entire IR department have been laid off as part of the cost cutting initiative.
I've always wondered why we are paying two people in the IR department (Helen and Stephanie) when you consider the lack of announcements and limited Investor related roadshows ... I wonder what they both do all day ... Perhaps we could replace them with AI ... I bet they WFH 😄
It's been a long wait (for me) re: Capita and the company (as Rockwood recently suggested) has been pretty unlucky along the way.
Ignoring the incompetence of JL and his cronies - we had COVID then the great business sell off to reduce debt. Then Woodford had to wind up his big holding and then, as things improved, Crispin Odey got involved with a scandal and his holding was wound up too.
Just as we were getting over Odey - we get hacked and that sets us back further. Then JL decides to take retirement (thank the lord) but that further destabilised things.
Then just as AH is steadying the ship -'Rachel from complaints' increases employer NI significantly which causes an across the sector malaise.
As previously said though - NI should be mitigated by offshoring and cost cutting and AI and I'm confident this will be confirmed in the trading update next week.
And after all the above - I think Capita is due a bit of luck as the rub of the green has definitely been against it for some years!
