@Capitalizer - I've sold £14,000 worth for the same reason which means it's probably going to gallop forward now (rather than fall back) as I'm never lucky trading shares ....

Having said that - £14,000 would be a small price to pay to get it to gallop forward (given the huge number of shares I hold here) 😄

Well they closed the gap at 19.44p .....so will they let this rally again into the last 30 minutes ....

I know traders don't like leaving gaps so I'm hopeful that's the reason we got dropped back to 19.44p bwtfdik

@Woolitch - I agree - surely we will run out of 20p sellers soon and then this should glide to between 21p and 22p quite quickly and hopefully that will establish a new trading range.

If we got an RNS for a contract win then I would expect this to move upwards very quickly ..

Swazzer has indeed been very correct in his predictions so far ....whether 27.10p is achievable in such a short space of time will surely rely on good news re: contract wins etc ...

However - if the top of the channel is 27.1p you won't here me complain if we only achieve 23p in a few weeks.

Definitely a time to be holding (or even topping up) CPI rather than trying to second guess the games being played by the market (how could we drop 4.4% yesterday) to steal a penny here or a penny there ....

As many of you know - I have become obese with CPI shares and I'm not worried about a 1p here or there as I've got my eye on the much bigger prize (of the share price at least doubling by middle of next year).

There are some people in the city who have lost some life changing sums of money by investing in Capita in the past.

To say this share is unloved is an understatement.

But (as they say in the property development world) - if you can smell the mould you'll soon taste the gold.

Ridiculously cheap - hiding in plain sight - but very unloved still ... but that won't last forever (Trevor)

I certainly wouldn't vouch for Adam Woodman but I did here a rumour that all internal pay rises are frozen for 6 months now at Capita ..... and that information did come from a genuine Capita employee ....

As an investor - anything to reduce costs internally is good to hear ..... As an employee - I would probably feel a bit miffed!

@Elphi - we will continue to be dead wood until we get more news.

A big contract win would be nice ... A small contract win would be nice ... Any contract win would be nice!

An new II taking a stake would be good .....

Without news .... We will be drifting until March 2025!

@Simpiles - anything that harms the evil empire (Microsoft) is fine with me.

I haven't used Windows or MS Office or any of their other acquired products (Microsoft rarely invent anything) for over 11 years now.

They acquired the original DOS operating system in a dubious way from QDOS before they mimicked the Apple UI to create Windows (whilst at the same time promising IBM that they were 100% committed to OS2).

Anything that causes Microsoft pain will always get my vote!

AH is ex AWS and should be well placed to be front and centre of this drive forward.

Multiverse and Capita to partner on providing AI apprenticeships and CEO of Multiverse is, of course, Euan Blair (son of Tony).

Tony's ongoing influence of the Labour party should not be underestimated either ....

All these stars aligning should give us a huge opportunity to push our AI products and services into all Government departments ....

And if Amazon were - thinking out loud - of buying an implementation partner for the UK rollout of AWS then ...

Well who knows who they might want to run a slide rule over! ..... Just saying .... but probably wide of the mark ... But what if?

@Savage - just received my BT dividend and I've used it to add more CPI at these bargain basement prices.

I've been reducing BT over the summer as it's highly unionised and that's going to spell BIG trouble for management when all those militant telecom workers get enhanced union rights ....

Still time to cash in that BT profit (before she returns to £1.10) and join CPI 😉

@GoCPI - thanks for the explanation / clarification - very much appreciated and I'm relieved you are on the same sort of page as me.

I know that any investment in the stock market cannot be 100% certain - but I do think that CPI, right now, is a 99% bet for recovery.

I think the recovery is now underway but when that recovery gets reflected in the SP is still anyone's guess but it surely can't stay this low for long!

@GoCPI posted "CPI's outcomes from here on is binary - either we get to bankruptcy from here that takes the SP to zero or Adolfo executes the long awaited turnaround that gives us 2 to 3x from these levels in 2025/26 and maybe more if the economy delivers under Labour".

That sort of shocked me .... As I think GoCPI usually has a balanced view of CPI and I'd be interested to know under what circumstances CPI would go bust (given we have a strong balance sheet and £2.5billion recurring revenue).

I appreciate we could go bust if profit doesn't cover cost (especially on those recurring revenue contracts) but with cash on the balance sheet and cost cutting efficiency well under way - we should have a great deal of breathing space to avoid bankruptcy (unless an unknown unknown / black swan account occured).

I breathed a sigh of relief when we banked the C1 software money as I viewed that as the moment that the Capita ship starred to turn around ...

Now I'm not so sure?

@NoFear - you've just got to chill my friend ... Being a CPI shareholder is a marathon and not a sprint ....

We may not see 20p today but I would expect us to be well over 20p this time next week ....

@Savage - as you know - I'm a fan of BT as well as CPI - but you've got to admit that BT has been moving sideways for years .... and SP is only a little over what Margaret Thatcher privatised it for all those decades ago ...

The main thing that keeps BT attractive is the dividend and with dividend reinvestment then the original IPO buyers would have had a very nice dividend / income return ...

However BT might provide good income (for the time being) but it hasn't provided any capital growth and that stands against it

So - at the moment - I am SELLING some of my BT holdings and buy more CPI ..... where (at the moment) we don't see any dividends but we stand on the cusp of monumental Capital growth ...

@Bubbles - I totally agree that we need to be winning contracts with healthy profit margins (rather than the wafer thin profit "vanity projects" won in years gone by).

It's been a while though since we have had any RNS announcing any form of contract win (or even extension) which means we are either not announcing them .....or we are not winning them!

I too am happy to see revenue slide a little as long as profit increases although - at some point - we do need to start closing new business / contracts with raised margins.

Good to see Capita are well in with The Blairs though - by partnering with / using Multiverse for their AI apprenticeships.

We need to get super cosy with the new Labour Government as well as be acknowledged as leaders in AI (to secure high value AI contracts in both public and private sectors).

This needs to get above 18.08p by close otherwise British Bulls will signal a Bearish Engulfing Flag and a SELL recommendation.

I don't follow the British Bulls myself but I think a few others do (otherwise they wouldn't have a business model)

One thing is for sure - if you want to get growth then you need to lower taxes - even Liz Truss understood that (but then went about it completely the wrong way) ..

No point being entrepreneurial and taking loads of risk if, when you are successful, the Government taxes you to the eyeballs .

Probably little point in buying shares outside and ISA too if CGT is 40%

We are heading back to the 70s ... Time to dust off those flared trousers and platform shoes as the wealthy get soaked with Labour taxes ....
