@Kipper - I'm sure you can p*** further / higher than me and I didn't post my enormous holding to brag ... but to demonstrate I've got some serious money in the game.

I never planned to hold so many .... and I've been accumulating for far to long always expecting the share price to rise and then always being disappointed.

I've now almost got 1.4 million shares but I would dearly love to sell a few ... And my average is now about the same as yours at 21.20.

I do intend to hold Capita for the long term (probably between 500k and 750k in an ISA) and the rest will be sold off in tranches if we can ever get over 21.2p again!

@JO - I tend to agree .....

AH has been a great communicator to date and showed how awful both JL and TW were previously.

I'm disappointed by lack of an RNS update but I read that meaning the closure of the deal is imminent.

Ifit was some weeks off then surely AH would have communicated. The fact he hasn't suggests days not weeks.

But WTFDIK ..... speculating like everyone else ... I may not be in the CFC .... but I am definitely a fully paid up member of the AH FC ..... so fingers crossed for this week!

As we move into September - if the C1 sales hasn't completed in the expected timeframe - I would expect an RNS outlining this with a new expected completion date.

Monday morning would be the obvious time to issue this RNS and I am hopeful that AH will understand an update is due and act accordingly.

I don't, for one second, believe that the deal has collapsed as an RNS would have been issued by now and also deals rarely collapse at the eleventh hour .....I would have expected an RNS during mid August if things weren't going well

Fingers crossed we get some clarity on Monday!

@JO - I think the reason why they chose not to issue an RNS is because they would have had to come up with another completion date ... And if they are waiting on a Government official then that's possibly going to be difficult to call although fingers crossed for some time in the first half of September.

I agree we did well to NOT fall by 5% or more in the absence of an RNS but that probably goes to show what a bargain basement share CPI has become.

After all 18.08p close less 12.35p from Capita 1 means the business is valued at 5.73p per share = £97.5million for a profitable business turning over £2.5bn.

Still can fathom how that is logical even if the margins are thin on the £2.5bn ....

@JG68 - I think the chances buggering off is probably why we are falling ... They were hoping for a quick Friday profit!

@Kipp - yes I was a bit ahead of you and added another 18.7k at 18.4p .... Wish I had waited longer now ....but isn't hindsight wonderful!

Looks like this is going to drift down now with little anyone can do about it .....

@NF - nothing we can do other than sit and wait.

Given that the C1 sale is worth 12.35p per share CASH - it is astonishing that we are languishing at 18.3p thereby valuing a business that profitably (albeit it at a lowish margin) turns over £2.5bn at £100million.

Unbelievable - time to fill your boots ... Ha my boots are overflowing... But it is difficult to fathom!

@Kipper / Trisor - the sale of C1 is dependent on a nod from the Secretary of State that National Security isn't implicated.

If there was an issue with Secretary of State / National Security though I would have definitely expected an RNS some time during August outlining that.

At this late stage you've got to assume we are simply waiting for the transaction to complete .

I've added 200k more shares during August a) to further reduce my average and b) to trade a few based on the SP breaching 20 / 21p when the deal drops.

I would usually just buy and hold but with 1.35 million shares I've got too many now! I've been going through a process of Bed and ISAing my Capita shares at these lowly levels ... problem is I can't bring myself to sell any below 21p ... so my ISA holdings is now totally Capita shares .... But I'm still holding my original shares too .... So I've been ISAing but not BEDding 😁

I'm trying to protect myself as much as I can from Comrades Starmer and Reeves ...

@Kipper - I'm not expecting a massive jump forward, either, on C1 news but I would expect a move into the low 20s.

I think one of the recent TA videos suggested a level of around 21.5p and that's what I'm sorry of looking for .....

I've been adding over the last few days ... I think the fear of the C1 deal not going through is holding back the SP ...

Time to be greedy ..... waiting with anticipation now!

Well towards the end of August implies today, tomorrow or even Monday for an RNS.

I didn't like the share action yesterday either but I also think that if the deal was in danger of collapse we would have heard by now.

As the old adage goes ..... No news is good news.

Just got to be patient ....

I would have thought the SP would be a little more bouyant this week given the arrival of the C1 money could happen at any time now.

Also troubling to see 3 x 100k sales as O trades just before 0900 at about 18.71 ...

You would have thought traders would be taking a position .. and the position they appear to be taking is SELL ...

Another great purchase James - any reason you've decided to add more ... Except the obvious reason that you are hoping for a SP spike when the RNS drops?

Does that mean you are going to cash out on the spike (like NoFear will no doubt do) or do you think you'll be holding for slightly longer than 96 hours ,😁

Well we've gone from the sale of C1 already baked into the current SP to .... the SP will explode when the RNS lands.

If they simply announce the money is in the bank then I wouldn't expect much SP movement. So it's baked in.

If they announce what they are going to do with the money or even a much bolder statement around being debt free - then I would expect a rerate ....

How high .... Well Fibonacci is around 23.6p and then again at about 28p .... and that also fits with swazzers charts ... so those sort of areas I guess.

Most likely we will rally for a few days again if the RNS does deliver good news re: debt reduction so it may not be a good strategy to sell early into the good news!

Whatever way you look at it ... This should be heading towards 30p by Xmas as long as we can win a few more contracts, reduce debt and continue momentum.

In for an exciting autumn I hope!

@James - glad you finally dipped a toe in the water. I'm expecting an uplift in SP in the next two weeks on the back of the C1 sale ..... and it wouldn't surprise me if we build from there (on the back of some positive analyst comments / contract renewals / contract wins).

End of August I think .... So any day now ....but in all probability it will be next week .... unless we get an RNS today 😁

@NoFear - you can wish this to go lower as much as you want .... As I said the other day ... We are in an uptrend ....

@Kipper - I see GenAI as a game changer but it's not the sort of thing that can be implemented in isolation.

Amazon and Microsoft et al have invested vast sums in creating GenAI technologies that need to be embedded into the working practices and technical infrastructures at an organisational level.

This is a huge opportunity for Capita to offer value add product and services to embed GenAI productivity solutions.

The amount invested in creating GenAI will be dwarfed by the revenues from consultancy services / operational services to implement it / maintain it.

@NoFear - it's in an uptrend - there can be no guarantee we will revisit any previous price .....

The trend is your friend ....it's time to buy!
