I honestly think that Capita are respected by their customers and I think that view is supported by the 93% contract renewal rates and also the good Key Performance Indicators ...

I think this whole 'Crapita' thing has been played out by Ian Hislop and repeated, forever, by the media.

If they were really Crapita then they will go the same way as Ratner (whose CEO famously told everyone that all their jewellery was crap) and go bust ....

So - yes - respected by their customers but disrespected by the media (and probably the city too).

@HHH81 - here here .... Well said ... AH and Pablo and Sameer would have a choice of multiple high profile job opportunities based on their impressive CVs and real world tech experience and Capita are absolutely blessed to have attracted them (albeit at the cost of some pretty juicy stock options for both AH and Sameer).

These guys didn't come here to fail ... It might take a few more months to fully turn around .... but turn around it will ...

@unhook this is not a 2 bit company that can't turn a profit - this is a largely respected UK business that has been driven into the ground by poor management (who failed to invest in technology when they should have done) over a number of years

AH and the team are putting this mid management right and we will see fruit of their turn around very soon and certainly by year end 2025

@daltry - I think my only thought is that we will see less SIZEABLE contracts (which historically almost certainly delivered wafer thin profit margins and were vanity projects) and a lot more smaller win (that have zero vanity but high profitability)

As Adolfo says - shrink Capita to make it more cost efficient and then grow from there .... that's the strategy in a nutshell...

It's good we've got a strong sales pipeline and it's even better that we are being selective on what we bid for as we can be sure that whatever we win is at a decent margin.

We haven't won any sizeable contracts for the last few years and I doubt the new strategy will deliver any either ... but of course I hope I'm wrong.

Finally - it's probably better for the business to have lots of small egg (contracts) in their basket than one or two ostrich eggs (large contracts) ....

.....is often the key to success ....

AH taking over and pivoting towards AI and Hyper scalers is an example of the right CEO at the right time (JL wouldn't have been able to spell AI let alone pivot towards it).

Now we see big government looking to shrink the state by deploying AI - well Capita is already a very trusted supplier to government so .... Again .... An example of being in the right place at the right time ....

The move towards Business Process Outsourcing as a Service is again an obvious extension to providing software as a service (which has been hip for some time) ....

I've never been more optimistic here....

I thought the presentation was solid and that the ship is now heading in the right direction and I absolutely love that they have standardised their offerings onto Hyper scaler platforms as that's going to save a bundle of cost moving forward and should have a dramatic impact on new business margins

I liked they are generating £96m revenue from subletting offices they no longer need .... that was a surprise ....

Share consolidation is coming and I think that is a great decision..

All in all - solid presentation - didn't learn a lot that we didn't already know... but moving in the right direction

@Trisor - I've got Snakey filtered so didn't see any of his insults .... There is nothing that he posts that's worth reading so filtering was the obvious choice!

With hindsight RR seems so obvious now - my friend bought RR with me at 76p and he's still holding and - if their small nuclear reactor strategy takes off - the RR could rise a lot higher!

Anyway could of, should of is very easy with hindsight which is why I'm determined to hold these until I get a sizeable return on my investment.

@daltry - ha you know what they say - BIG ISA Small w***y!

I'm hoping the ISA decision works out but I must admit it's taking longer than I had planned ...and also more cash than I had planned ... As the turn around has been so slow ... And I've had to average down (over and over again) just to retain a sensible average ... which is why the ISA is so big!

I'm not the luckiest person with shares (which is probably a Sell now signal in itself)

But I have a technology background and (as I've said many times) the likes of AH and Pablo and Sameer don't leave Amazon to come and lead failure here ... Life would have been too lucrative in Amazon Web Services to bother about this UNLESS it was truly believed that this could be turned around to the point of making them filthy rich.

The director share purchase support this theory so it's just a waiting game - again - for me

@daltry - and there in lies the problem .... How many times have we been promised the turn around is complete and FCF is on the horizon followed by dividends...

I remember hearing all this - every year since about 2020 - it's always the next year that's going to be transformational ... Until something comes along (data hack, NI increase) that throws everything off course.

So - I agree with you - jam tomorrow hasn't been delivered here for years and the ONLY reason to retain faith is that AH and his team are a class act .....

Whether the class act can get the elephant to gallop in the next 12 months or so is anyone's guess (and also relies on not hitting anymore setbacks (like hacks and NI) but their share purchases excude confidence ..... and, for what it's worth,... I'm sure they are going to succeed .....

I just can't decide if that success will be in 2025 or 2026 or 2027 .... But if they do succeed then the SP will be multiples higher than it is today ....

As someone said the other day ... Nailed on for at least 100% .... but then again we've heard all the before too!

@daltry - elephants don't gallop ..... they STAMPEDE... and that's why patience here will be handsomely rewarded ....

I've never known a share where the CEO and CFO and Chairman and COO have all made substantial investments in the same week ....

We may be too small (at the moment) to be noticed by the city which is why this looks to be a fabulous opportunity to make a serious amount of money ....

Having been deep underwater - I see the appeal at bailing at 18p / 21p but I honestly think there is money to be made here ...

I sold 1000 Rolls Royce at £1 to bank some profit and invest here .. and that's looking a pretty expensive mistake now so I, for one, won't be making the same mistake again!

Each to there own ... but if you follow the money .. then the money this week is flashing Capita!

@Hexam - your explanation is correct - consolidation doesn't affect anything ...

If a share rises 10% when the SP is 20p then it increases by 2p a share .... If the SP rises by 10% when the SP is £3 then it rises by 30p ....

So consolidation doesn't affect your ability to recover your investment but what it will, hopefully, do ....is to stop this large multi national company from being traded like a 2 bit AIM share ....

It's astonishing that this hasn't surged on the back of all the recent boardroom purchases and that's because the MM can manipulate it at their will ... When it's 13p .... Hopefully less so when it's trading back in the £s

@Adam - I know many people have tried to explain (including me) but honestly honestly honestly honestly ..... Consolidation makes no difference at whatever price you invested ...

I don't think I'll still manage to convince you ... But it's still worth saying ....I can't wait for consolidation to take place!

Just makes you wonder how many people closely connected to the company have got to buy before the crooked MMs let the share price soar (like it should have done when the CFO bought 1.45m and the CEO paid £165k tax for his stock options out of his own pocket).

With all these purchases ... This should be trading at least at 15p by now!

It looks like someone has got this share by the throat (a bit like Trump / Zelensky) and will only let go when it suits them.

I don't know what else can exude confidence than the CEO and CFO and COO all making substantial financial purchases since results ....

Definitely being manipulated and the sooner we consolidate the better!

Nice to see the CFO has lots of confidence here with another 1.45 million shares!

Perhaps this might start to move the SP now

@Aim - I would expect a small rally into the Yellowstone presentation (very much like the rally which we witnessed in September 2024 ahead of the meeting).

@Hexam / Capitalizer / Trisor - I do hope that things can stabilise a bit as Pablo gets to grips with the financials as all these one offs make the financials here very difficult to read.

If we report a large loss in August (as we don't have any business sales to offset the cash outflow) then I don't think the market will be happy and we will be punished again

I still have immense faith in AH and his team but I would like the numbers to start showing the progress being made

@daltry - he's not unique with AI but he is creating a series of unique product offerings that amalgamate Business Process Outsourcing services with AI.

A good example of this is the housing management service / product that is now being purchased and adopted by multiple councils ....

You don't need many unique products / services to be adopted to have a transformative impact on both revenue and, more importantly, profit.

The big contracts like SSE and NI etc are eye candy that will cause the share to surge but productising and selling unique BPO solutions is the way we will quickly move back to profitability

@Trisor - yes RNS which I've been waiting for ... And pleased to see he's funded the tax element of the shares again from his own funds ....

One really good reason to hold here is that AH is slowly acquiring some very serious skin the game!

@Crowman - I'm at break even at a shade under 19p (but only a shade) having liquidated my entire ISA holdings in good companies (such as BA and BT and Barclays) to significantly average down (from a large holding at 29p average).

I've obviously lost ground with BA and Barclays in particular surging since I sold whereas it's all been pretty static (or worse than static) here ....

At BE or (even slightly under) then I am a substantial seller of all my non ISA shares but I am loathe to exit completely (by selling my ISA holding) as I want to at least make up the ground I've lost compared to holding BA and Barclays (oh and also RR .... Eek).

So my strategy is to only hold CPI shares in an ISA wrapper and then keep them for the future dividends or sale of the company ....assuming I live long enough!

Disappointing share action again (so far) since the results especially with a director already buying again.

@Crowman - you may well be right that consolidation could eventually lead to dilution.... and that isn't great ....but dilution is always better than liquidation ...

The only saving grace might be that the directors are invested themselves ... and have a track record of turning around companies before selling them off ... and I'm not sure they would want to dilute their own holdings.

Remember AH paid the NI and Tax on his stock options last year from private funds as he didn't want to dilute his shares to cover the tax element (and I'm hopeful he will do the same when the next tranche of shares are vested within the next few days).
