Simply put - for every 15 shares you currently hold - a new share will replace them ....so your share holding will decrease .... 15 old shares = 1 new share
The new shares should be worth, initially, 15 times the share price at consolidation - so if the SP is 20p on the day of consolidation then the new share will be worth 15 x 20p = £3.00
So - basically - you won't lose out in the consolidation as, in principle, you'll hold the same stake in the company as before.
The consolidated share price should mean that the SP stabilises a little bit (rather than swinging around wildly which is seems to do at the moment).
