Over subscribed x2 apparently - so pop - bang! A lot of hype and yes musk's ventures have been successful.

I'm waiting and will buy via ETF, maybe it's a get quick rich like crypto, I like a bit of risk, but maybe not so much.

Torn, get in early and make killing or wait six months and get in cheaper once the initial hype is out of the way? The only bit of SpaceX making money is starlink today as far as I know, but the rest could? I think medium to long term is worth at least a speculative punt. HL minimum purchase is £1k

I certainly think there's an argument for them, I only have one, ARCi which is AI & robotics which I've had for a couple of months, up 24% at one point, after Friday it's 16%, but it's not a huge amount of money, speculative amount, though I'll be building it as robotics is only going to grow, the AI segment is due a correction as that looks too much like the good old dot com growth pattern, though it's very different in many ways.

My RR I have quite a chunk with an average of £1.27 at the last calculation so I can ride the ups and downs, I firmly believe there's more up to come

Yes mine have landed, well I can see them anyways. I've dipped my toes into ARKi as I think AI / robotics has a way to go- up 24% in 2 months, it's a bit more of a risk than empire metals, I'm intending to top up there and wait for spaceX to settle post IPO.

No sides here, but sometimes you just have to stop trying to explain, especially when views are opposed. This is like a domestic with raised voices in a block of flats, everyone hears whether they want to or not, far better in an empty park over a coffee.

For me trying to understand or guess whats going on with this market is almost pointless, guess right (charts help) and a bit of day / week trading and make some money or add shares, get it wrong and it goes the other way. This share is going to shake, rattle and roll for a while longer despite the fundamentals ........

I did a very small rebalance away from RR 3 months ago on one of it's up days, (I still hold a sizeable (for me) holding of the little darlings) into ARCi robotics etc up 19% so far, it's one of those do I don't I shares, but robotics is growing so thought the punt might pay off medium to long term, just as RR will.

@grindstone - this site has indeed descended into a maelstrom of ********, sad really as there are some clever teddies on here, sadly some throw their teddies out of the pram despite all being here for the same reasons, sharing knowledge and making money. if you feel you have a point to make on rr say it, then duck! i for one don't give a damn if people think 'oh no, not trello again'

Absolutely - We're in an investment that has its major profit centre in an oil dependant business centre, it'll be reactive to the pricing of aviation fuel, but we all know that. The other sectors are carrying on regardless and generating good profits and the new 'profit centre' of SMR is moving forward as will the testing of ultra fan 30 shortly, both of which are potential huge catalysts. When trump, Iran and Ukraine/Russia settle we'll be back to a glut of oil so for those concerned today about the oil price, it's a risk not a certainty that hours will be hit. On the other side of the coin the defence elements of RR will drive the defence sector (politics in the UK / Europe aside) and increase the pressure of governments to negotiate for additional SMR's due to the security risk. Unless you need the money or think you can make more in the medium to long term you (we) might as well just keep a weather eye and enjoy the sunshine. Lets face it we can't do anything about Trump or Putin and I'm not sure either knows which way to jump anyway, so we don't stand a chance of understanding any more than superficially.

Lots of macro stuff that'll play out, oil price down to $60 then fuel cheap - engine hours up. Inflation up less people affording long distance travel engine hours down. Who knows really, but the company has several strings today and a few interesting ones in development for the future, so medium to long term were looking optimistic ------ Todays musing are deflection from tasks (sorry) I don't like doing but in this day and age can't find people willing to do for me .....

Well tomorrow will be interesting as the US markets are also closed today, though the out of hours trading might give an indication of trajectory beyond oil pricing

Whilst incorrect grammar is unfortunate, I think we all left school years ago and I didn't realise we had or needed a teacher of English on here!

I almost didn't go out with my now mrs as I was terrified of having my emails and messages marked for grammar, she's now a just about retired exec head of grammar schools- 13 years on no red pen.

I'm pretty sure that once we get through the current impasse in the middle east we'll see those numbers, Berenburg has at least raised itself from the 200's by putting a 1 in front. As it states the hours are ticking away nicely, with power systems doing very well, income from the early part of SMR redeployment now they've in effect got a heads of terms agreement that can be billed against.

I'm not so sure, at this point China appears to be supplying Iran with Material, Russia drones and who knows what else and making lots out of the oil derestriction. Both parties are using the Iran situation to play the US who're likely playing for time to get some more 'toys' manufactured .... All the while observing and developing counters to 'superior, super dooper, the world's best toys (according to trump) .
