But Rishi, He's only in it for status and 'future' lucrative work. He cares not a jot about the UK IMHO, but then there aren't many politicians these days that aren't in it for themselves and not the country.
Agree Robdon unless there's an update at the AGM on the 23rd re Divi's or something else. Maybe there's a sniff of Divi announcement, hence GMB sticking their necks out and believe, rightly or wrongly, that they should get their cut before the shareholders.
Through strength comes peace, bullies only pick on those they perceived weak. Defence spending should only be enough to create balance along with the perception you’ll use it if necessary. A country that has the nuclear triad and says we’ll never use it might as well not have it in the first place. RR has the technologies to enrich our lives, clean energy, travel … celebrate that and enjoy the money when it comes.

Strange that 'defence' stocks of which we are regarded as one seem to be incredibly turbulent, with gradual increases in defence spending you'd have thought it would be largely a one way street, upwards? Still £7 by feb 2025 is very possible

Peaky. That was why I used the bed and isa process with HL, getting the money out to xfer is not as easy as it should be. Though to be fair had I done so I’d likely nabbed a few more xtra when it dropped south of £4 briefly.
A lot of promises, don’t know when the election will actually happen but today 2.5% is way below the min required imho. In a years time, when they give their first budget the world could be a very different place, where strangely there won’t be the money for 2.5%.
