I suppose this thread is slightly related to where we are with RR in as much as we have a conflict (2) based on views that differ. Religion per se isn't an issue as people throughout the world believe different things, all good and dandy. As has been said on here we could ban religion and I get that, but it's interpretation that's the issue and there are fundamentalists in all of them. I've had the demonic stares when in a Catholic Church, I've had a muslim cleric try to convert me and convince me that our way of life is wrong, never by a Sikh, Hindu or Buddhist btw. Sadly the Middle East seems to want to fight over its 'friends' from different perspectives, much as still goes on in say Ireland between the catholics and the proddies. The difference as I see it in say Iran and it's by no means an exception is that the IRGC = Gestapo in old money in the way they implement their version of their religion, I accept many would say the same of Mossad. Europe if Germany had got to the atomic bomb first would have been a very different place today, as would the UK. Israel and it's people have been persecuted from the beginning of time so stopping or attempting too (conventionally) a state (republic of Iran) from completing its threat to annihilate them is understandable if not somewhat repulsive.
Not looking for an argument here, but as people have voiced there views, here's mine. Very happy if you disagree, like religions you can all believe in what makes you feel good.
