RE: Buys as sells?1 Dec 2019 08:26
Hi Idiot, I said interims but meant trading statement.
Last year’s trading statement was Dec 4th, Finals Apr 17th, (May 8th ops update), trading statement June 3rd, (another July 2nd & 4th and Aug 3rd and 28th), sept 17th interims (ops updates sept 19, Oct 8th, 29th and 30th and Nov 11th) which takes us to Dec trading update again. Some of the updates are operational ones. Trading Statements should follow a financial calendar. I have looked on web page and they don’t have one listed other than for finals and in terms, but I assume as we had a trading statement last December we should get one this December. Monday would be nice.
I also wouldn’t be surprised to see ARB feature in some New Year tip sheets as it ticks most of the top investment criteria.
Management. Financed. Market moat/barriers/USP. Revenue/growth.
For those that may wish to look at another share I tip that checks all the boxes and has just raised cash to complete a highly accretive acquisition check out Directa Plus (DCTA). A US multi-billionaire has picked up 28% of the stock mostly at a higher SP and the stock price has hardly moved. When you look at their portfolio you really couldn’t make it up. They are trialling graphene in roads (amongst other things) and on extended trials including Milan airport runway as this stuff last 250% longer and you just recycle it! Still enough of them it just illustrates how the market can overlook companies, but one hopes not for ever!
