Perhaps I should have said I kinda change my mind according to what’s going on. Try and read things. I have voted for every major political party at some point. I voted remain in eu but if there were another vote I’d vote leave because democracy is not about voting till you ge5 the answer you want so just get on with it. I’m a doer and try to be intuitive which is why I can’t believe that when we are confronted with the biggest risk to health of modern times they dither!

Well stoners nice to have some good news today in TXP share price. Puts Mrs Trek’s back in the blue. Today we decided not to go on an all inclusive cruise holiday, going to have to write it off. Possibly a rash decision possibly not, one can only know with hindsight. My wife is a cancer survivor and I just can’t take a chance. I know all the odds are stacked in our favour to be ok, more chance of being run over etc but I do look before I cross the road! And for me some things are just not worth the risk. The % hospitalised in Italy is what tipped it for me. This is more than just a flu!

I even wrote to my MP, never done that before, obviously didn’t mention the holiday but I do hold the government guilty of complete incompetence and ineptitude for their handling of this. They have had weeks to prepare and done FA! There should by now be hand sanitizers outside of every public place e.g on the underground, at airports, doctors surgeries and outside hospitals. The supply lines should already have been primed. People recruited to replenish them etc. There should be a hand washing program of education for all in schools, on tv on billboards. People do not wash hands properly, some don’t even know to remove a watch to wash the wrists. Business should have been told to produce extra hygiene goods in advance, underwritten by govt. I could go on but I sent him loads of ideas. I mean if we built a 1000 bed hospital in Hyde Park and isolated Manchester like they did in China don’t you think that’s a fking clue! In my opinion they are a bunch of idiots only interested in economy over everything and the irony is thier dithering and lack of business knowledge and common sense is what will cost this country more and probably now in human life. And even if it came to nothing none of the effort would have been wasted. Imbeciles!

Even if cv19 gets to the islands there is still a market for the HC’s. The world won’t stop as people have a week's sick. 82% v mild symptoms and get through it ok. Don’t get me wrong this is bad v bad especially for those that have lost loved ones. Imo the market is pricing in a recession now but TXP are in a very unique place where even with HC imports from US there is a gap in the energy needs of the islands.

To think I sold over 100k last week and piled it back in yesterday thinking it was the bottom and now another 7% down! This virus is one MF but it will hopefully pass. Trump is pulling out all the stops behind the scenes so a US company can save the world with a fast tracked vaccine. China cases have slowed, Italy may peak soon and pull back once people stop kissing each other on the cheeks and we all wash hands properly.

There will be some good news soon and if you miss the bounce that can be worse than enduring a dip as you can loose out twice.

Here’s the ‘scoreboard’, the trends are reducing, but don’t believe Iran as they may not have any! (Sorry tongue in cheek just Brit humour, no offence meant and no there aren’t any separate tables for Scotland, NI and Wales but you can request them!)

Could affect to upside as security infrastructure is increased and cost may increase due to demand. I guess it’s an unknown then and that’s probably the issue.

Imo take a read across from HSBA, they have been ahead of the virus curve and now bouncing. I have closed my short there, done very well but the point is the wider markets will bounce soon. It will probably be short lived on the way back up but the rising tide will imo lift all ships. We will then need to settle whilst the market factors in impact on earnings. Things will become more sector focused then. So in terms of TXP if you can watch I’d hold and watch the story and keep some cash to add if it drops because the tide will soon be back in. All imo.

Imo one has to weigh up the balance. This is AIM, it’s the extremes. Look at the camps and decide which one is dominant at any given point in time coz imo that dictates the Sp. Let’s look.

1. My personal position, long term bullish on VRS, markets sht, last RNS did not indicate more news to prop sp was imminent. Make a decision, either sell....
2. or same camp, but hold, got a good average to ride this out or I see it as a buying opportunity to average down. So hold/buy
3. Sell, looking at the futures, is the sp more likely to go up or down. Down = sell.
4. Cheap, looking at the prospects and the deals pipelines, this could rocket at anytime. Buy/accumulate.
5. Sidelines, probably the most influential vector. A view of all the above but a decision that is yet to be made.

There are obviously many other permutations but I have just tried to articulate where we are at this juncture. And for balance one also has to read across to the macro and if that suddenly changed to the upside I’d be straight back in but currently my read is Vrs is being punished. So no other imminent news, (a guess), sht macro, awful markets and Vrs have just been caught in the cross hairs of a black swan.

Oh 6. Hold and hug, almost forgot. But don’t forget there are lots of stats that show doing nothing wins in the long run.

Personally I think cv19 is having a bigger impact than anyone could imagine even to such an extent that major capital projects may be delayed, albeit, temporarily (my opinion). The virus is a MF it is virulent to 1-3 to 1-5 compared to the flu of 1-1.3. I can’t think of another reason for the trading volumes here or elsewhere for that matter. I have sold out now and only hold a few stocks. My shorts on TUI, EZJ and HSBA which I posted there are much easier money than picking through this minefield atm. I am not negative on Vrs far from it I am negative on the market for now and happy to sit on the sidelines even if that means paying more later for less risk. But then Vrs has been very kind to me from 13p and I’m sure we’ll be back together soon. GLA.
