RE: Potential value?19 Feb 2020 14:04
Hi spawny,
The tcf figure is important I think, and this is my opinion from reading between the lines, that if PB gets to 1tcf or close, he’ll sell us.
In the video he sounded out 1tcf as being considered as being too big for Txp and one of the big boys may take us out.
He is adamant we don’t need cash. He was clear infrastructure costs are not an issue.
Allusion to simultaneous drills on Royston and Chinook. Prove up quickly.
Must fully prove up Cascadura even with an extra drill. Imo This is a protection from low ball bid.
I see plan A is prove up, maximum value and sell up. Look at his previous and the previous of the team.
Plan B is longer term, finance from existing fields and coho. Tie back cascadura, 3km, prove up the ridge and produce. But imo plan b is a smokescreen for plan a which is prove up sell up for fair value and move on.
Get it right and even if just Royston comes in that has already tested for gas and my reckoning is that’s easily £3ish this year!
The lateral variations do help. I made a few bob on DGOC and sold when they changed their dividend policy. Started buying in here lol!
