Success breeds success and today TXP announces that the Chinook well has come in with ‘a significant discovery’ encountering significant hydrocarbon accumulations making 3 from 3 on the Ortoire Block. Wireline logs indicate total natural gas pay totalling approximately 589 net feet in three unique thrust sheets in the Herrera sands and additional natural gas pay of approximately 20 net feet was encountered in the shallower Cruse formation.

Completion and testing of the well is expected to be undertaken during the first quarter of 2021 and investors can expect the drilling rig to mobilise to the Cascadura Deep location prior to the end of the month.

Paul R. Baay, President and Chief Executive Officer, commented:

“The results from the Chinook well exceeded pre-drill expectations. The successful exploration well further confirms the geological model developed by our team and is expected to provide significant development opportunities in the Chinook area. With both the shallow and deepest zones being new to the area, it also identified future exploration opportunities. The Company’s focus is now on the drilling of the Cascadura Deep exploration well, which will impact the timing of Chinook-1 production testing operations to ensure the safety of operations.

I remain adamant that TXP remains a must have stock, my time spent with Paul Baay looking at the Ortoire maps some time ago, including the wells drilled a long time back led me to believe the story and the drill bit has done the rest. My last chat with Paul was also realistic, he knows that it can’t be win well after win well but we already know that there is enough in the area to make proper money for shareholders.

I have been adding recently. Pretty much given up on getting sub 2.5 now but am as close as possible on my shinny new start over again average!

2.5 being the CLN strike price. I note how the crafty MM’s have been pitching the bid and ask either side of it.

However, when the notes are exchanged, firstly there won’t be selling at 2.5 that’s futile but I do expect some profit taking early on. Same as on SGZ recently.

My main concern would be opening a short and then selling and getting a double bubble from closing the short as the subsequent SP drop. It’s worth watching the short’s just in case.

So in summary concerns aside I don’t expect anything to happen until 3p, then some profit taking. I think buys in around 2.5 or sub 3p are a pretty reasonably entry point now that much of the uncertainty is over.

Any further funding will/should have a strike higher than 2.5 else it will pee a few city boys off! That funding would be due to better terms as much of the zero coupons are now negated or for investment in other assets.

Must say though a 25% rise is pretty subdued but that’s better than a spike and retreat. Casca deep next, gas contracts, ‘wall of cash!’ Happy days!

I like COBR, you’ve probably seen my posts there. DTM Like CD is very knowledgeable. COBR and SGZ (financed to pour this year) is my main holding in the tiddlers.

Try CCZ, mostly Copper though. Oz and Zambia. I don’t hold yet. But am looking. They are drilling what’s been proved before!

KAT, SA tailings but financing delayed. Got lots of stuff going on. I don’t rate the BoD but should be a no brainer once they get finance sorted. One to watch, cautiously! I may despite my protestations buy as a trade later.

Then there’s GDP, I am waiting for results middle of month before deciding to buy or not.

I have for me v large positions in GRL, awaiting EP which should be a formality. They have outstanding grades. I posted some numbers there a while back and it’s my biggest gold holding now. Highly rated shareholder base and good BoD, financed. Pour this year.

Then there’s PUR. I view PUR like SHG insofar as it’s a bucket stock. You just gradually build a stake to fill the bucket and in a few years time the divi’s will arrive. PUR has an advantage of being in Canada and also excellent grades financed, pour this year. Directors been selling options recently, just cashing in which has meant a top up opportunity!

GGP then who hasn’t got them!

SOLG I have looked at since sub 20p and the capital structure and location with covid worries put me off. Got that completely wrong ! So there ya go for some honesty.

If you like auto trading TSG buy 90- 92p sell 104-106p. Been doing it for ages!

Most of my other buys of late have gone into ONC which is a Pharma play. Never seen anything so undervalued on a contract basis! I have been pretty much the only poster there and flipped all my 4D into it and like you some SNG. If no deal soon I think SNG will come to the market. I’m not bothered though as all that’s left invested there is a decent holding on a free carry and I took over 100% out!

Hi CD, yes indeed it’s never quite that simple. You also got a 30-40% premium for Scottish gold. Sometimes the market is to be played irrespective of the numbers. I took some off here with a 40% profit and bought the drop there. I will sell into the news and be back. I think it’s more likely that SGZ will appreciate 50% before end of Nov than SHG. That’ll give me more SHG shares. If not still got a foot in the door.

20p v 116p. Be interesting to see the difference on £8k at say Nov 21st and how many SHG shares I can get back.

One things for sure I think the fiscal regime in Tanzania will be more stable than Scotland going forward! I mean when you think about it. Indy politics, Brexit, lockdowns, rising unemployment, covid gotta be paid for!

The US OTC market is very low volume in this stock and its negotiated price. Ignore IMO.

Because the volume is subdued. The MM’s are very short of stock. They brought the spike back. It’s reverse psychology. When peeps see a price top of the leader board they buy. When it’s bottom they sell.

So the mm who doesn’t have stock yet can’t afford a rush of buys. They have to make an orderly market so they bring the price down to deter buys.

Only when we get some big sells will they then ramp the price up to make on the spread and volume.

Imagine if they had no shares, no market, where would the sp be.

When investing in an illiquid stock like this you have to dyor and be prepared for a high often nonsensical vix or barmy drift!

Value usually outs though. Often in one or two sessions! It will reach a tipping point soon. Remember director options don’t start till £2.

Hence imo buy below that knowing what an amazing news flow we have coming.

For balance while UK plc have paid for this don’t mean we have a pot of cash. Loads of deals but how much currency in the bank?

So we could get a short term hit but I am ok with that as long as we see concrete future numbers.

At the end of the day companies list on aim to raise money! So I don’t get why some PI’s are surprised when they do!

You can mitigate by buying in tranches. I intend to double up from a decent holding a couple weeks after results.

I have 500m mcap in mind here and that could still be cheap!

Thanks. Just had to work up from very little! Check out my ONC posts if you’d like to see where I’ve gone it alone. Sold all my 4d pharma, dddd, at 250% up then caught the ONC rise the next day! Sometimes a little luck beats all the dyor!

Got plenty of free carries this year so trying to do a little to help the kids.

However, always cognisant it can change in a blink!

Not a deramper just call it as it is. Now funding truly sorted I bought more on this dip having sold the last of my 1.2 shares at 3.2p. The rest were sold much higher. Now imo is the buy zone.

Using $1700 gives a lot of headroom and when the financials become clearer and say, as expected POG is over $2000 next year then a step up from $17 to $18 or even $19 will give a massive lift to the NPV. That has the effect of neutralising any funding gap, should there be one.

This is one of the core investment attractions of junior miners in a rising gold market. You get an almost disproportionate leveraged lift in NPV.

Oncimmune links up with world-renowned Cedars-Sinai for COVID-19 programme.

Oncimmune Holdings PLC (LON:ONC) said it has signed a commercial agreement with the world-renowned Cedars-Sinai healthcare group to provide antibody profiling for coronavirus (COVID-19) samples.

Specifically, Oncimmune will analyse serum samples from staff exposed to or infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

It will then identify biomarkers of the disease and compare these to a control set of healthy patient samples.

Last week, Oncimmune was awarded UK funding to help develop a “comprehensive diagnostic tool” for coronavirus called IMPACTT, which stands for Immunity Profiling of Patients with COVID-19 for Therapy and Triage.

Researchers will collect samples and clinical data from 3,000 patients to be studied by Oncimmune to develop and validate an infectious disease NavigAID panel of biomarkers that can then be used in the research.

The tool will be designed to predict both likely patient response to the virus and the potential effectiveness of vaccines and treatments.

Cedars-Sinai will contribute antigens to the panel, and in return, will be the first academic partner to benefit from this IMPACTT programme.

"We are delighted to be partnering with such a prestigious organisation as Cedars-Sinai on this important programme,” said Oncimmune chief executive, Adam Hill in a statement.

“Oncimmune is responding to the global call for innovations to support the fight against COVID-19 by leveraging our capabilities in immune profiling. In so doing we will build on our knowledge of the disease and support the development of vaccines and therapeutics.

“We expect to announce further development collaborations and contracts over the coming months to be followed by contracts with biopharmaceutical companies once the COVID-19 panel is fully validated," he added.

£3m on top of a £78m MCAP is not a lot. I am surprised that they didn’t wait until after the results and thought they’d raise more. NPV of £96m is an amazing return, sure they have re guided POG to 1400 which has given most of the lift but some juniors are even now using 1800. If the POG establishes a 2000 base then this is virtually ‘free money’.

These guys are super confident they have restated the pour date twice in the RNS and given a very tasty EBIT number. I see the SP has only gone to 125. Gives one time to top I. I am hoping that true to AIM form we see 109!
