RE: Inside the Final Stretch16 Oct 2025 16:04
I posted earlier about the specificity of ‘… ‘the’ selected partner.’. The tense is obviously indicative of a single entity.
Question is what will such a partner do - is it just for offtake contracts, or could it now be more.
As ops change so do the options and of course the needs for finance.
They have known about the hydrogen for over a year now e.g 3rd sept RNS…
“ "The Clink #1 well has ALSO demonstrated the presence of geological hydrogen within the deeper, Cambrian, sandstones. Hydrogen grades increased towards Total Depth, which was called at 8,030ft while apparently still in gas and without reaching basement.
That basement still has t been drilled and now the geology points 100% to geographical Hydrogen. For balance that’s different to commercial hydrogen…it’s gotta be proved.
Given the size of this ‘serpentine’ it does seem to be the driver of Helium and Helium Isotopes as well as Hydrogen. And then we also have oil in the mix layered on top.
This imo is looking like a monster. Too big for HEX given the pace that Bo likes to work at.
Pretty obvious for now that the first stage is to get cashflow to strengthen one’s hand and in tandem I think they will be looking across industry for a JV.
We need to drill that basement, build a liquifraction plant, not waste that oil and offtake helium and hopefully Hydrogen at scale.
For sure the PSA can purify even to 99.9% although it’s more likely they will go for 75% and truck it to get the volume. Another PSA can also be added but there will be a point when we have say 20 wells that other efficiencies based on economies of scale will come into play.
If we add in hydrogen and oil this becomes a whole new frontier and we will need a JV to keep that pace up.
All considered I think Bo will weigh this up, prove up especially the hydrogen and see who wants to buy…
In which case a big payday!
Usual caveats
