RE: Selling tests5 Aug 2021 09:59
Gosh sensitive lot here.
Post some research and opinion, politely and because it doesn’t fit a rampy narrative some unfortunately resort to abuse.
The accuracy, costs and lead times are on the links for all to see. The UK competition is on the govt link. At the moment that is potential business relationships that are being developed that could have gone Avacta’s way. It may of course do so later but it’s a dynamic that has likely affected the SP/sentiment.
Many businesses or sales representatives or indeed it appears governments aren’t overly concerned with it being ‘cutting edge’ science. They want an accurate test delivered on time approved by the regulator. The regulator sets their standard.
My point is if the FlowFlex page was Avcata’s webpage, as I expected or hoped it would be by now. Home use approved in some European countries, delivering at scale, UK regulator approved and pending UK home use approval we’d all be ‘singing from the rooftops!’.
I for one think it’s useful to look at the competition. Some may remember the research I shared on Sona gosh must be a year ago now.
Ndn, my ‘all in’ here was on a pf basis. I sold half the first time it hit £2 and bought back below £1. I got the some stick then! And quite rightly AVCT did the placing shortly after. They do not, imo, need funds now before someone else twists my post.
I sold over half again from 240 down to 200p. I was all in then on a pf basis. But the trend and newsflow led me to reduce and I wanted to add to He1.
I think the market has this week digested the news well. The SP has held up and like I said before the next couple of weeks should offer some good buying opportunities. Not that I would expect that anyone uses these forums to make investment decisions at least not in entirety.
Others here may just be long and probably seldom post. I am long on SNG now. Not much more to research as it’s wait and see so I rarely look in there now same as a few others.
There is, however, much more going on in the LFT/AV space here. I am surprised no one else mentioned FlowFlex or few of the other competitors. I am not saying they have a better product than AVCT. They don’t but they are out there and growing and that’s the point
AVCT, SNG in particular and a few other covid stocks have been the shares that have really benefited lots of folk, and have popular BB’s as some of these stocks just keep on giving it is just a pity about the circumstances.
By all means use the filter. I do.
Good luck with your investments
