It’s a disgusting offer! It plays on peoples emotions that need cash short term.

Lump sums do not usually add to one’s pension pot and they are taxable! Furthermore with inflation being compounded you dip out big time in the years to come!

They always benefit the employer and are dressed as mutual benefit!

Unfortunately many health workers out of desperation are forced to accept.

Each government continues to take the pss out of our key workers, like health, police, teachers, armed services etc whilst baggage handlers, train drivers and alike whose down tools and brazenness has an immediate economic and disruptive impact continue to command better pay rises.

Don’t get me wrong I am not advocating a 10% across the BoD pay rise. Just a better distribution, alignment and respect.

But meanwhile the pay gap continues to widen!

Sad thing is it could be sorted and the public would back meaningful change to pay awards and taxation.

But there is no political will just rhetoric!

Me too and PHNX but sold MNG yesterday and missed the divi but my profit more than made up for it!

Bought back a few here today less than I sold at. Average here now a tad under 94p but I lost on a couple of trades yesterday.

Happy to sit now with some cash for after the results one way or another!

For those interested anything over 30k was NT and anything over 10k was 34p. 32.96 to sell so should tick up once the other 20k shares go assuming no sells.

Back in for first lot. These held up well yesterday and the reinvestment incentive has helped offset the corp tax hike.

Directors also happy to hold so happy to build a position here again at a lower level.

Got 3 buys in at a tad over 114. Gives me over 6% yield which is key!

Every now and again you find a share that you can time well usually by luck. This seems to be one for me!

Bar a few exceptions I have sold loads across the board today to protect gains.

I will now get my trading hat on tomorrow to grab some nibbles on what could be a little bounce now the Swiss central bank has offered liquidity to CS. It’s gonna be a wild couple of days!

Thing is you can’t really trade the likes of PXC as there often isn’t a market for reasonable size trades to make it worth it or the spread kills it. PXC’s trading window is usually over days or often weeks as opposed to within a day or week.

There will be opportunities now to trade ftse100 shares and I will only be trading those with a solid divi as that acts as a safety net and one’s with good liquidity and a tight spread.

However, I will defo be keeping cash on the side for here. I’m hoping tomorrow the finance news lands as that’s what usually happens when I sell!

On the sidelines for now having reduced earlier. The environment to borrow money in has completely changed. Nothing to do with PXC. Following the 3 US bank bailouts and now credit Suisse everyone in finance will be looking over their rear view. Pxc could get caught in the crossfire as money is shuffled back.

I would rather cash in the profit I have and pay more from here when the deal is done.

With all the money Jo is sloshing around on infrastructure then a grant in this direction would yield huge benefits imo but unfortunately unlike for biotechs and industrials that’s not on the agenda.

Sold them all at the bell this morning whilst I was in profit. Even MNG which goes xd for 13p tomorrow!

The new IFRS reporting showing assets as losses has rattled the markets. It’s not changed profitability as the divi is derived from income. It’s nothing new there has always been periods of high and low rates so some bonds you win on some you loose. However, the bank collapses has now made it different!

So better in cash with a view to buying cheaper.

There aren’t many reasons atm for the market to go higher but plenty to go lower!. Credit Suisse has just had a big hit and the Saudi’s said no more!

If the tories go ahead racking up the corporation tax to 25% the UK small caps will also suffer. Even if they have tax credits!

And if the tories don’t do it labour will.

May even exit other positions later that I have traded down. Apart from a few that I have well researched I can’t find anything else to hold let alone buy!

DEC I will wait for the results next week. The market has all but written off the divi there but if it holds and it’s just been increased that one could bounce! But as always it’s tied to macro and macro is looking poor. So tight call!

But for sure go nowhere near anything that needs cash. Even equity could be tough to raise now as the banks will be looking in their rear view!

May -Aug are historically poorer performing as well so head for the sidelines imo! Again!

Your experience sound like your post.

I have found the BoD transparent and honest in the dealings I have had with them. I am also really pleased with how seriously they are approaching the ESG.

As for the dilution and SP, well they thought it was a great opportunity and had to make it happen via a bookbuild and as you will know raising capital for HC investment is difficult especially with an already declining SP.

I don’t think anyone expected gas to crash this low but thankfully their prudence in hedging is hopefully giving us the protection now that many of us were defending when the gas price was much higher.

Many are here for steady sustainable income and that’s what the BoD model is set up to deliver.

My understanding is we come out of a close period soon and may see some director buys.

Once momentum is in our favour this should pick up but the reality is macro atm is horrendous!

Like many as a lth I have taken this opportunity to average down to now 102 and would also love to get below 100p.

If only we could know what the SP would be in a year and in two years! They may even have a big find on the new acreage! Hindsight hey!
