I have never had any doubts in the progress and operational abilities of M3 and it’s great that Paul Mendell’s achievements are recognised. That’s why I bought. But tapping into that success is dependent on Nick delivering which given his track record is super high risk!

Nick’s job is also to deliver the RTO as well as grow the proposed business. That has slipped quite significantly and so has the SP.

Those time pressures are imo in part self inflicted, he is spreading himself too thin. Needs to prioritise as ECR drilling is also taking up his time a continent away!

When I saw in the finals he said that the admission document was ‘underway’ I immediately recognised that as an indeterminate word used in ‘management speak’ to say we haven’t started yet proper but we have kicked something off!

There will always be operational needs. That’s why you have a team and he has a great team in M3.

He needs to get the RTO over the line as well!

Exxon just announced $billions of investment into Nigeria deep water. That was tied to their onshore asset sale to SEPL.

SEPL sp going up contrary to other producers

Media noise from politicians saying deal is done just needs signing

Nnpc are broke so now even less likely to bid for Exxon assets

Also from a macro investment perspective Nigeria is a growth region and everyone’s friend being in Africa. Pays good well covered divi that should increase slightly after divestment. I thought it would double but not now as assets will need cash given decline due to time deal has taken. Exxon been doing minimum.

190 good entry imo. But obviously with risks. Then sell the news when it comes if you don’t want to hold.

must say i am equally unimpressed so far.

i don’t know why nick needs to be out there reporting on the ops in such detail. feels like a bit of corporate tourism at the expense of voy holders while nick enlightens himself on helium e&p to dig ecr out of the sht!

i want to know how the rto is going, what is happening with the prospectus, what will the share structure look like. how about capital run off, deals etc and cash preservation not more airline tickets!

his priority should be sorting out the liquidity of the company. the tech guys at m3 are more than capable of delivering on the ops front without nick on their shoulder asking them to explain each step of the way!

i am here because of the asset, the revenue potential and the valuable gear that these guys have that imo add up to multiples of the sp on a successful ipo and furthermore an aim listing. not to mention the sale of the non core business going forward.

but we have a ceo who seems to be focused on anything other than the financial and capital priorities ahead!

i bought a modest amount of stock here that is now significantly underwater due to the liquidity and the ceo’s lack of focus. there is no one else to blame other than myself, took a punt and the bod’s thusfar apparent miss-placed priorities.

at this rate it will be a write off.

likewise i m expecting a delay now with some lame excuse light a flight delay!

seems to me what was a wonderful opportunity is turning into another small cap ****up because the management are full of self importance and lack of focus!

Like I said I sat on my hands until sub 830 appeared got that again now! Happy days!

Two times visit to 820’s could mean double bottom was in. 829 is technical support but it often blips below that intraday.

Got my average well down now could even be blue again today!

M&A or a placing.

The asset is still top notch so a merger or sale of the company is a realistic possibility.

But for now, and why I sold way back before they the floated the bonds. Two questions unless I have missed it just occasionally dipping in here now.

How are they going to make the coupon payments on the bonds and how will they pay riverfront.

Sale or placing imo that’s logic based on the cash position.

Unless they are allowed to use the bonds to pay for the coupons.

But that is just paying one credit card off with another and is not normal practice! The bonds are to develop the asset.

Still hoping they pull a rabbit as this could then turn very strongly but for now….ouch!

Some peeps think Hex is binary based on CINK.

If they overcome the Shale then obviously it’s game on. Big time! Hydrogen and helium = likely takeover by one of the many bigger players. That well + acreage is too big for HEX! Why wouldn’t the Bod take a huge payday!

If they can’t get through the shale albeit unlikely with that huge rig which has no doubt done it many times before. But if, then the sp tanks. If so buy as long as the upper horizons are deemed commercial. Likely outcome takeover.

Why, because we hit a soggy patch and peeps will know that there is likely a big prize below. HEX’s licence covers all the known anticline!

Then there is Rudyard.

Thing is Bo will have so many options after CINK whether it’s a complete success or not. We also have enough cash for another drill on ignomar. Could also delay Rudyard until after another drill in ignomar.

Could go on.

But there will likely be lots of trading opportunities ahead due to the volatility. If you can keep a bit in and trade the rest with a level head and ignore the BB noise one could do well. Or if super confident just hang in.

But as always it depends what SP lens one is looking through. I.e the 10p lens is always better than the 28p lens. But I think both will do well!

Yes it was same in US until Trump closed loops. There’s a double barrel Latin name for it ‘ m m ‘ say that eludes me now.

Lots of the digital on line market places benefit from it. But as always irrespective of who is in power MP’s don’t like closing tax loopies!

My take as well. I wouldn’t be surprised if this is taken out on succussful wireline and flow test.

Think about it. That is actually not dependent on the deeper shale fix.

DM said they wouldn’t jeopardise the well as they could produce from the higher horizons.

So the deeper prize would still remain, just untested.

They have a huge acreage which covers all the known anticline.

If the well is commercial then chance are someone will want HEX as they know there is a high chance of a bigger prize deeper down.

That shale may not cover the whole dome.

We could just have hit a ‘soggy patch’.

Even if the shale is continuous the next drill would be forermed to case at that level.

Whilst some think this is a binary bet it actually isn’t. There are far more permutations especially for a deeper pocketed bigger player.

If we flow helium and hydrogen from the shallower levels HEX imo will have to go on the defensive.

Unless of course the poker face Bo, that some here struggle to read, knows he can cash out rich in pretty much any commercial scenario from here on in!

What about the concert party that own over 60% of stock and had to sign a rule 9 waiver?

You think there was some selling at HEX which is likely mostly behind us now. Just wait until they have to offload to get below 30% at GEX!

They probably got lower than float price at cost per share so can sell and make money on covered shirts at GEX.

Far too early to but there! The concert party will want to balance their pf risks before drill which could be a way off yet imo!

It’s a good ops prospect but the capital structure is a basket case! Imo!

Hex is the number one helium play in the world atm! And the presentation confirms it.

Even with problems in shale they could still have a commercial well at cink! And Rudyard is worth more NAV!

Don’t get many opportunities like HEX cross ones desk in years of investing!

Surely the underlying position of BR and Barc is long. They loaned stock and get paid for that. But the stock will be returned at some point and they get paid the divi.

So it’s more about them making a few bob on a side bet rather than being representative of the underlying health of DEC else they wouldn’t own the physical stock in the first place or would just be 100% short.

It’s all SP play and legal manipulation with ALGO’s, shorts and CFD’s to make extra money.

I guess it’s not much different to buying and selling physical stock but just doesn’t seem right as there is only a finite number of physical shares. These guys in effect leverage that up.

Still macro is turning in our favour and the overall ii position is 80% invested as hold or long.

I have been buying UK high yield. Their day will come with rates coming down. My pf yields over 9%!
