Whilst I share your frustration mcco, IMHO I feel that we're flying under the radar and have been for quite some time, not many trades of significance. Possibly due to lack of awareness in the wider market and also that we are on AIM and people are cautious as most AIM stocks have been dire for a long time now.

This visit and the surrounding publicity will hopefully boost SAE's profile and generate some interest. All of us LTH's know that we're on the path to good things (100 GBX and 6% dividend yield - I can dream...), however for investors that are new to the company it's possibly appears quite high risk, as there is still a ways to go to substantial cash generation, just my thoughts, happy to hear other's takes.

Indeed, this is the Ace up the sleeve that Tidal has over Wind and Solar, a reliable, predictable base load.

Once scaled it will be cheaper than Nuclear and likely much quicker to build out, not to mention no radioactive waste to deal with. Not reliant on gas imports with fluctuating prices.

The CE would stand to gain substantially from the proliferation of tidal energy. The net revenue profit reached a record £1.1 billion for the year ending March 31, 2024 from offshore wind.

In the 2000s offshore wind was massively more expensive (like tidal is currently) and it was unforeseeable at the time that it would become what it is today.

Obviously you are bitter at taking a loss below your average Rio, but no need to insult us all with a lazy generalization.

I agree Mr. T, CCS is another nonsense from FF producers to justify their existence. Its very expensive and lowers efficiency. With wind and solar being so cheap now, it's pointless. Perhaps for the production of concrete there may be a case for it, but not for electricity production.

I used to work for an Anaerobic Digestor company and at the time it was a relatively new technology in the UK, particularly the configuration that we specialised in. There are so many things going on in the background and nuances that are not always obvious from the outside, such as government policy, complying with it, supply chains, finding a workforce with the right skills, funding, the list goes on.

Interesting facts regarding levelised costs compared with FF generation, also charts showing when its predicted to become cheaper in US, China, India than FF. Interesting points made about how markets need to change to accomodate them better.

It's AIM Mr. T, to echo what OT said, there are many stocks that are suppressed lower than they should be.

I will, I had put IES at the back of the bottom drawer and almost written them off, so thanks newyorksaint and SARS for highlighting them, I'll catch up more with what they are doing.

China controls a large proportion of Lithium and also rare earth elements, so given that SAE's primary income in the short to medium term is BESS, an alternative battery tech to Lithium is IMO very pertinent and worth discussion, as at least 3 LTHs hold share in both companies. Also IES have a UK factory near to Glasgow.

My only concern is whether the BOD at SAE see it as too risky compared to Lithium in a sense that Lithium is a much more established tech. In safety (fire) terms Vanadium is much less risky.

I've been in since the REDT days, even though I've averaged down a bit over time, still at a big loss with IES.

I admit that I haven't been following their progress lately and they do seem to have come on quite a bit, Endurium looks good, is this what project Mistral became?

Trying not to spoil for Mr. T, in the show the numbers are one of the many mysteries of the island, some believe they have immense meaning and significance, others believe they are nonsense. So similar to how some people try to divine the future from looking at chart data. Makes more sense if you've seen the show, or maybe I'm the one talking nonsense...
