To get back on track, why have stem cell produce an affimer? Not just for covid but for any disease. Over production of a protein and affimer can bind it I can see, inflammation diabetes etc.

Thanks. To carry the stem cell I guess it would have an attachment point to a protein in the cell surface. Another attachment cell to virus (which is free floating but high concentration in target tissue).

But why have the stem cell make the affimer? Or maybe it doesn’t, treatment is affimer plus stem cell separately?

If I understand it right, stem cells that don’t cause an immune response can be edited to produce affimers than attach to covid 19 virus.

The stem cells can repair damage.

Why not just dose with affimer and stem cells separately ?

Fir chronic conditions I think I can see why stem cells are useful and having affimers than can help guide and attach them to certain sites ( sticky both ends) is potentially a string differentiator.
But why have the stem cell produce anti covid affimer. We are told they are cheap, so production and regulation (don’t want too much affimer), would be limited benefit?

No test is ready today from them. They are working on it. It’s not just accuracy, it’s consistency in hands of public.it gas to survive storage transport, people who are dehydrated, people who have just drink lemonade etc etc

The have communication with testing bodies that could help them if/when test is ready for trials.

The need is huge. Can enough test units be produced quickly?

As I say am long Avacta, but when we say we know, we really need to know, not guess reading between the lines. The SP where it’s at due to risk and unknowns relative to potential revenue.
