What is the source of that number. Reading rest of thread on that page there was a lot of “statements” hard to prove. One could be forgiven that there was an effort to get the price to rise before news released.

Doh85, I disagree an affimer therapy would be ready sooner. Antibodies well known and requiring testing. Affimer a complete unknown in regards to what it will do if injected. Avacta has shown low immune response to it, but what it will do in human body needs testing.neutralising therapy was also a university study.

Does this mean lab validation has at least started. They have booked capacity with condor but can’t say it’s ongoing till lab validation is finished. We moved past prototyping, have final (ish) test ready but need to complete testing milestone

Take 20 minutes to find a porter to take the sample to the lab. Actually, make than an hour if he has to put on and take off PPE.

**** in a pot glucose test takes 20 minutes cos someone needs to look at it, check is, fill in computer.

It will be reasonably quick, but as anyone knows whose been in hospital there is a lot of waiting around.

I wonder how it will be used. Will anyone showing symptoms but negative on the sniffle spit stick be tested with a more advanced test (eg bams). Will all
SSS positives also be tested just to confirm?

Got to admit didn’t read all the links, but I assume this means tech available to continuously monitor concentration rather than a simple yes no indication.

Nice to see things moving forward, but goes to show things take time. What is good is it gives avacta experience of the process. Leadership team might already know etc, but an organization with experience is great. Would prefer the sniffles spit stick to have been announced properly.

A little +ve and will hopefully maintain SP at a nice level.

Governments have taken options on vaccines. I am hopeful the same will be done with the sniffles spit stick(other brands available). Given the lessons around Ppe I think that likely. But options, has to work first :-) I don’t know, just looking at clouds thinking happy thoughts.

Of course the two cancer technologies have yet to be tested. That means investment risk, quite a large one compared to other stocks.

But the risk reward looks good for many, others maybe not. For me just FYI, this is my holiday cottage money (ok caravan), not my home mortgage.

Easy enough to say someone is wrong but why do you think that? Are you saying it can be brought to market in 8 months?

Sorry I think there is some misunderstanding, easily done on phones with things tricky to read.

Discussion was around using affimers to block covid 19. Antibodies can do this and are in test under accelerated timescale.

Affimers can be used against cancer to block the way cancers hide. But that was not what was meant above I think. Maybe I got wrong end of stick(Phone+old eyes)
