There is a lot happening in wireless power applications. It looks like all building blocks are available (more and more low power chipsets on the market) and the applications are more and more visible. Within 5-10 years the market penetration will be massive and I think supercaps will play an important role in the total wireless architecture. The supercap will be the new capacitor/resistor in electronics....just my opinion..

Gemalto is global leader in id and credit cards. Acquired by Thales. Thales has a jda with cap-xx and some nice concepts on graphene processing.

Looks like Thales is one for on the watchlist...

Frac, thanks for sharing all the links to products from existing licensees. This is all serious volume stuff so future is very bright for cap-xx. What I like is that this info is not from cap-xx itself which makes it for me more "fact". For the shareprice, we only need some formal communication about sales figures and projections to reach the audience which is more finance minded and not only entrepreneurial/visionair..then this will fly. Not sure if it will be next earnings (still thinking licensees are ramping up and design ins just take time), I think it will be mid 2020. A bit later than I hoped for but on the other hand a bit more time to watch the progress closely and top up once a while.

OS, I agree on the way we are informed. I still hope there is a good reason for it.

On the other hand, also some important things are happening which gives me trust:

1 global leading components players are willing to be licensee and are introducing products around it.

2 3 volt is around the corner

3 ramping up own manufacturing. (Took over growing murata business..) what is murata going to do ? When is this 3 volt battery with supercap onboard released ?

4 hunting Maxwell started.

Gla. Keep believing in great things to happen but yes communications to pi’s could improve (I hope Im wrong and the silence was for good politic reasons...)

Spot on !... the cash was used to obtain capex.

Capex is used to set up the production internal.

So instead of for example 10% royalty on each sold product, this has changed to 30% margin for each sold product.

And AK recently mentioned that the volume of this product line was growing..

OS, thanks for your response. I have to agree that I placed the ball in front of the goal for you. You are of course right but it is the same like building a house.. you have to start from the fundament and after many steps you will end up with a house.

Rocksofsteel, you might be totally right, however I think this also means that all read units around the world have on the same position a counterpart for this coil. I´m not deep enough into this world but I tend to think that this will not be the case and therefore I´m still thinking that they need to harvest the energy in a different way. But maybe I´m totally wrong.

Any thought, additions and ideas are welcome (Openspaces, I´m sorry to open some technical discussion here but I think it is important to understand the cap-xx position in this application.)

Thales acquired Gemalto recently. Thales has an agreement with cap-xx (dated from 2015). All very close but still no proof that this creditcard is using a thin and flat supercap... I hope someone finds a good link later today.

In this slidedeck, a supercap or battery is mentioned. The question is: is there a supercap onboard or no energy storage at all ?

If it is a supercap, this is huge news.
