I think I made a mistake in my previous reply, the license fee of cde and tdk looks it is already in the figures:

· New non-exclusive license agreements signed with TDK Corporation and Cornell Dubilier Electronics Corporation for the use of certain of CAP-XX's patents. The license payments were received in FY 2019. Additional licensing deals remain in various stages of negotiation.

Looking to the overall result, this looks to me that they gave them almost for free and there was no afterwards payment voor earlier sold products, Please correct me if I’m wrong !

Yeah.. maxwell will fight more because there is more @stake. Imagine tesla bought them because of cap-xx ip... :-)

A RNS with mixed emotions:

The good thing is that nothing unexpected or bad happened during this long period of silence... It looks to me that some things have simply delayed.

The crucial thing is that this report is dated until 1st July 2019. This is around the time where a lot of good things would come to fruitation (or at least would become visible in the financials).

- Expected higher sales due to the Murata production inhouse. But maybe this is just after FY 2018.
- Expected to see licences incomes from TDK and CDE: but like mentioned in the RNS, this money has been paid after 1st July and we have no clue how much money is involved.
- Spire, we all know the story.
- Cylindrical cell supercapacitor revenue continues to grow, with first quarter sales in FY 2020 exceeding the result for the FY 2019 full year This looks like 2019 will be at least times 4 the revenue of 2018 ! And yes, I also hoped to see already first results in Q4 of FY 2018.

A projection of what will happen next (at least, to my opinion):

1 The hearing of Ioxus next week: Settlement will happen before end of 2019.
2 Maxwell lawsuit, settlement will happen, but that will be Q1 2020. I expect that they will fight a bit longer (they have a lot to loose)

3 3V will be released and ramped up.
4 We will learn about details regarding the financial impact of the settlement with TDK and CDE.
5 The big investors will start to "help" the company to turn it from R&D towards a business. This will happen before end of 2019.

Decided to keep my shares. Maybe even top up in the coming weeks. Reason is: strong IP position which is growing, a lot happening in the wireless power world and solar storage.

Another nice theory since there is no company news...: based on a previous shared article, Tesla bought Maxwell for 200 mln$. In the same breath it is mentioned that it is not for their supercaps, but for their special battery... Assume this battery concept is using cap-xx ip which will be granted soon, this means that tesla bought the wrong company and cap-xx would be worth about 0.75$ per share only based on this.

Brings me to the point that in case this was the reason that tesla bought maxwell that ip has value.

Never mind... we are only licensing avx, tdk, murata, cde...and maybe soon Ioxus, Maxwell and Panasonic.... let's see how it is with Skeleton.. which one did I miss ?

There are doubts if Tesla acquired maxwell for the supercapacitors.

Btw the value of maxwell is rated between 100 and 200 mln $. In cap-xx terms this would mean 0.5-1$ per share.

I really hope for a rns today so we have some direct cap-xx related content again on this board and we can focus again on the person AK instead of OS ;-)

Open, are you really "sure" ? I still can imagine competition/negotiation phase reasons whereas this could be very bullish for the stakeholders.

PC01, fully agree. This is a typical R&D company. But I'm convinced in case the current b.o.d. will not perform this year, the mm's and some pi's with voting rights will "help" by forcing some changes in the way the company is managed...gla, coming week is an important one.

I was trying to figure out the size of the Global coin battery market:

Sony (today Murata) mentioned first and total market is 3500mln us$.

Only watches and smartwatches are mentioned, so I think they are not taking smart sensoring and meters in account, same for energy harvesting applications or car fob’s.

I think by combining the coin batteries with supercaps, new applications will come up and this market will grow in the coming years.

I did some maths:
3500 mln usd coin battery only. Lets assume a potential for supercaps of 1000 mln usd.
20% will be cap-xx related (could be far more, looking to the lawuits..)
Margin is 30% (currently 40+% but that is not sustainable)
Profit over equity is 15
300 mln shares.
Estimated share value (only coin based batteries): $3.

Of course a lot of assumption but I simpy want to show the potential of this stock and that my $10 target is not out of the blue, Think of new applications like credit cards, automotive (big cells), energy harvesting, off grid, etc, etc..

I’m more than happy to see cap-xx winning the lawsuits and arranging fair settlements. This is only increasing the marketshare for the future and like shown above, this is huge...
