Too much excitement for me today. Followed the Odeysey of the Seas about 10km out today. Close enough to use her WiFi. She had been up the coast from me for a couple of days getting the crew vaccinated. Crazy really but Israel really are so far ahead in many ways.

The US is really the big opportunity. Lots of funding available for installation. Most Americans can't afford a decent Internet connection.

Nice find Bid. I have been networking MTN South Africa and they are super impressive. They have set a 1000 BN target by year end. I am very confident that this will go Africa wide as they are looking at a installation seminar to spread best practice and training installation leaders in more than 6 (half a dozen) other African countries in the very near term.

MMs move today on one tiny buy and two sells. 3 left on 44 2 on 42. We could very well see a penny or two up today on low volumes.
The share price will move through 50p within 2 weeks or within 2 minutes on strong news.

The field trials are apparently 3 pilot deployments using different configurations but all with ACEnic-100.
I don't know if this will be the first UPF sales disclosure because China is moving extremely rapidly towards commercial 5G deployment.

Digging around and assembling information. I am of the opinion that Ethernity is about to contract the supply of a complete UPF product line to a National Telecom outside of China but in the same region. I am lead to believe that it is a complete offering. ACEnic-100 powered UPF with router and forwarding engine.
This is a National Telecom with a large market share.
I assume that this is the field trials referred to in the RNS in December.
Ethernity won over major competitors in Lab testing.
I am told that this is a direct supply contract. I don't know time frames or when it will be announced but we should get the Telecom named.

I suspect that an ISP would use Openreach at the tower then distribute that with G1. Ultimately they need a hub to connect into.
The ISP does last mile connection which is always the most expensive part. They buy data, access and tower space and then resell to their clients through billing or packages.
With G1 that can be last 15km in line of sight. 4km from the tower seems to be the max range for non line of sight at any practical speed. So in one 90° arc they can handle up to 512 connections simultaneously. However I don't know if that's the case with faster speeds. Each 90° segment requires one Ethernity flow processor solution.

MTN operate in 22 African Countries with mobile networks including Tower ownership, fiber broadband and now air fiber.
Revenue from data is $3.3 billion a year. Total generated by all businesses is around $17 billion. Their largest market is Nigeria followed by South Africa.
They have businesses in Iran and Afghanistan through JV.
MTN are listed in many African countries and listing in others very soon. I suspect that we'll see the Supersonic airfiber in South Africa model replicated across Africa.
I note that in the UK there are 3 new regional ISPs targeting hard to reach locations and locations covered by BT copper.

Skid don't forget that the market doesn't know how much 5000 units will cost or the margin. $400k is the initial delivery probably achieved in July. The market doesn't know how many units of the 5000 $400k equates to. I assume that production will start modest and ramp up from early summer. I believe that the following year could be 50000 units given the aggressive sales expectations of Tarana.

We have never seen this before. News, a steady increase and no pull back. I think that much has changed here in the last 6-8 weeks. I think that we should be extremely confident that over time a realistic valuation will be achieved. I am not putting any deposits down but checking out the new models for my shortlist. Plus 42', owner model, ocean going Cat with AC and full electrical package. Circ $700k.

Yes it's been an excellent 25%+ rise. Tarana news was easily worth progress to mid 40's. Lots of events now near term and it will take very little to journey to £1.

Slowly the MMs moving. Still interest in owning these shares between news and with some spending on warrants which is a very strong indicator of appeal. Still stock at 43.67 but I don't think that it will actually be much.

So we learn that MTN do have Africa wide reach with established presence in Benin, Libya and Nigeria. This is in addition to Rwanda and South Africa.
MTN are expanding rapidly at multiple locations. These are currently serviced mobile networks with cell towers. Internet coverage is a challenge and FTTH will be very rare creating opportunity to deploy air fibre economically. MTN are a very diverse organisation with huge continent wide reach. It's only a matter of time before air fibre is on the agenda.

I don't know which may be the closest first sales in China or progress on a DU product leading to deployment. With the DU I see it as two fold, first it is a solution for the service providers the server manufacturers have engaged then it is commitment to a new product for their server family.
China will start small for sure. It is important for someone to be thinking beyond the mobile smartphone market to industrial applications. This is where Ethernity, 5G and virtual Edge solutions will come together.
