I think it very unlikely that any end users come to Ethernity. Sales will flow through third parties and integrators. They probably won't even know Ethernity are in the supply chain.
Like Supersonic and MTN they are buying Tarana not Ethernity.
Ethernity are further upstream than Silicom. Selling largely component and part solutions.
Ethernity are in my opinion unlikely to supply end to end and really any that do are not truly open unless of course they are the best in every aspect.
I have said many times that there will be many winners. With a crazy low market cap Ethernity need a tiny share to increase the cap 10-20 fold.

I think that Silicom still see Telecom as a succession of ASICs boxes to be replaced when obsolete. With fpga being used to bring on the solution.
That is simply wrong. It may fit their business model but we are seeing now from leaders like Ethernity solutions for 3-4 and 5G rolled together that will extend into the next generation. The reason is the hardware can be redeployed to new tasks on the fly. An installed 5G solution needs to be flexible and versatile. ASICs is inflexible and made as such purposely. Moving forward I think that we are on the last transition of ASICs and that is why they are talking about open platforms. However open doesn't mean selecting a handful of vendors that's simply collaboration.
Many areas are still using 3G and 4G and it is important to many to maintain that alongside 5G. Ethernity can do this in one solution.

In rather a confused way he is saying that fpga which is variable or individually programmable will become effectively ASICs in time.
I have long believed that mainstream systems providers will end up as mass open players. Touting the best of each stage but selling it effectively like an integrator but on a mass scale. Very easily it could be ACEnic-100 making that happen.

There has been a real buzz here for the last 12 months and it is increasing. Ethernity are super well placed and in a very strong position.

Ethernity has a long standing partnership with Xilinx and the numbers are not high. Flow processors will have 2 or 3 identical fpga purposed differently.

The shortage was more of a problem in January and February but will be an issue all year. Ethernity use very common fpga and the main squeeze seems to be in the specialist sectors.

Horizon wireless are now carrying G1 as well as Absolute Air in Australia, NZ and the Pacific region.
They do provide radio broadband but market to many carriers across the region. Really this solution is perfect for the environment.

Slowly the world will realise that collaboration through a open system is the only way to evolve true 5G. Open fabric is the only way to have a ever progressing 5G. It is not about signal strength it is a complete package.

It is interesting to see two chunky buys as in the last few weeks I assume that large volumes of supply has been absorbed by a wider market. Certainly over April 2.5 shares have been bought for every share sold. Given that we have seen increased volume this amounts to more than £1m of unexplained supply. Given the amount of shares actually in the free market it is quite a significant chunk.
These two trades highlight that somewhere in the background there is a supply being dripped in.
This is not a bad thing as previously every upsurge was capped by poor liquidity. When supply dried up the MMs froze the market out.

Marcel it means nothing really 3 MMs have shares to sell 3 want to buy so they compete a bit. It is not a unusual situation.
We are in a functioning market and still above the rising trend line. The whole thing is extremely healthy as we wait the next catalyst.

It has been a busy time.
It would be good to hear a plan for production for Tarana processors. Indications of field trials progress (ongoing is best we'll hear). Sales in China through integrators which should be trickling in very soon if not already.
OEMs using ACEnic-100 or and Ethernity code and appliances.
Progress evaluation of the prototype initial DU solution with server manufacturers. Plan to develop custom solutions for the server manufacturers ISPs engaged.
The next 3 months Ethernity could very well move into positive cash territory. Sales will certainly increase as new markets turn on.

Martyn I believe that they took a reduction in renumeration temporarily whilst funding was being arranged. I doubt that is still the case.
The funding and accelerated spending is I suggest to meet the requirements of a rapidly expanding business.
Certainly they are ramping up production, simultaneously they are working with 3 Major Server manufacturers and in field trials at multiple locations. This all costs money, however reward is near term now and I trust David to steer the business to mass ramp up.
They have one huge hit with Tarana, we wait for more.

Yes certainly. I think that we are looking at $1m to set up a production team of about 30 in India. It just needs to be able to be scaled up.

Greg the production in India is for a completely different product with an Indian OEM.
The trial flow processors were built in the Ethernity lab which is not set up for mass production.
Ethernity will either twjn up with Tarana labs and produce in Pune India or subcontractor in my opinion.

2+2=4. Knowing the answer is 4 is helpful but 3+1=4 also. 4=Ethernity need to produce 5000 flow processor units in 12 months. 12-24 I am seeing 50000 units as reasonable.
How Ethernity gets to 4 is the question.
Tarana are in India, Ethernity has third party production in India. US is a huge market for Tarana so China looks unlikely.
The cost of mass production in Israel will be the main factor that and availability of labour.
I think India is 2+2.

Much more likely in my view is that there will be no future funding requirements. I believe that H2 will be cash positive and H1 2022 will generate substantial rapidly realised profit. Investment in mass production facility is the unknown.
