What really is great about products like these flow processors is all the testing and trials are complete so almost immediate deployment. We can expect sales immediately from a product like UEP-60 because in China they will be at the start of mass deployment of 5G into the 800k 5G ready radios.

Wireless backhaul I guess would normally be used as redundant capacity in critical systems. However this tech is so advanced that it could be the whole connection as reliable as fibre.

January 2019 This article. Really this is the scope of the process in engaging an OEM, advancing through testing into development before the OEM can market the product. In India it is aimed really at current markets. In the rest of Asia especially China and Korea this will be a 5G product.
The Indian OEM will be moving towards product launch in the next 6 months I strongly believe. Their product uses Ethernity tech which they will manufacture under license and now it can be sold globally mass produced by the Indian OEM.
So 2+ years on I am encouraged to believe that we'll see similar deals across Asia as testing concludes, product development completes and products are released.

The product was released around that time. It is the product that made a big part in the Indian deal announced 6 or 7 months ago.
Certainly the trials should be maturing around now.
The product has advanced considerably and is a unique product as Ethernity patent protects the method of piling so much on a fpga.
Typically lab and field trials take 12-24 months.

Marcel 6G will be about devices and applications. Yes the network will get fitter and thicker for sure to carry those applications.
6G will be wearable AR/VR. 5G kit supplied by Ethernity will become 6G kit in the future. However 5G will evolve many times before 6G. I doubt if any of the monolithic ASICs kit will even evolve and this is where Open will win.

Brian Klaff is the super switched on marketing boss at Ethernity. A really nice guy who unfortunately couldn't think of a better 5G example than remote surgery. Of course in the US or Europe that will be a reality but not in Africa where life is cheap and 5G enabled surgical theatres are never going to exist.
Brian is always very helpful and a real asset to Ethernity.

Links from April and earlier show a 600k target but the news of 3rd May says 60k. This news comes from one source and the same words appear in many places. 60k a year is about 200 a day suggesting an install teamof about 25. 600k is about 2000 a day and a team of around 250.
They are starting with 68 locations so up to 272 units and 139000 end users. Many of these 68 sites are already installed at the tower and available now.
