Greg it is a mega market and one where a tower is likely to have 4 transmitters and very unlikely to have 512 households within range. Sales will be hundreds of thousands of BNs to meet the market. Assuming $1000 a flow processor it's a huge deal. I bet Tarana would pay $100m to take that patent and tech right now.

SA is not obvious for a US company. MTN has rights for Africa. The US was the most obvious because that's where they had many trials. The US is very undeserved by quality broadband with 7/10 households having no service at all.

That is just South Africa which isn't really an obvious marketplace. I think 5000 units in 12 months and in 18 months 3-5000 a month.
As a side play it's extremely valuable.

They are starting at 68 site so potentially 68x4 flow processors in the initial phase. Repeat this globally and it will be massive.

It's the hardest thing and Tuesday was an opportunity to drop some at 8am and buy back but for all the stress hardly worth it.
Sit tight buy on dips and don't look for traps and trip hazards. The MMs want your shares.

So right now I can sell 110k shares online IG for 49p. I can buy 9999 at full price.
Despite 3 MMs in each direction it is clear that supply is very tight.

I took part directly in a fundraising at a gold mining company years back. It left me inside and unable to trade. I was approached by the CEO after meeting at an investor event.
I was considered inside because I knew the potential fundraising was in action. I also knew the price.
It was frustrating to be sitting on shares at much higher current price knowing that they were about to drop.
The story has a happy ending but not a great experience.
Also the acting in concert restrictions are a problem. I am careful trading with clients here especially when liquidity was so tight.

Interesting that Charles William Ergen Executive Chairman at Dish is also on the board at Echostar a major Tarana Investor in and on the board team at Tarana. That is according to the WSJ. However not on the Tarana site.
I guess that there's a strong link and dish are looking to engage a much larger customer base.

I really don't think that the MMs have much physical stock and really the other side of 60p is where it will be. Not much resistance between here and 60p. MMs will want to slow down the market but ultimately short term it is walking to 60p.

Really you have to see Air fibre as satellites on the ground. Effective range, non line of sight, reliable and cheap. Easily installed and maintained.
Really Starlink verifys the huge market in front of Tarana. The reality is that for fix broadband it does everything that spacex does just much cheaper.

Taranas aim I am sure is to have in place huge coverage well before Starlink are able to drive the price down and address the issues. I think that we'll see a major ramp up at Tarana. With an effective wireless network in place at very low cost it massively shrinks the market for Starlink.
I guess that it is a major blow for Starlink to have viable competition on the ground installing now.

The only viable market for Starlink is mobile broadband to vehicles, ships and aircraft.
Indeed latancy and stability is a problem. Maybe Ethernity can solve that.

Not a bad day today really. Plenty of buying. Given the situation it has helped to skim off some weak hands and let in some strong bargain hunters. I don't think that we'll be below 60p for long.
