Sergi is that about the best for a SmartNIC fpga or ASICs processor. Or fpga SmartNIC against ASICs silicon.
There is no answer to either question. It is all about the application and the scalability and future of the application.
There will be many winners, ASICs won't win them all and neither will SmartNICs. However when it comes to SmartNICs fpga is cheap and very powerful in the right hands.

It is quite likely the reason for a few of the sellswe have seen. People may well have been freeing cash at 38p to buy at 30p. If cash is tight it makes sense.

Tarana are deploying now on a mass scale globally through multiple avenues not just Air FTTH connections. We can expect sales through multiple streams from this well financed vehicle. Tarana has a huge cash burn so will be looking for a rapid cash return on a rapid ramp up.
Sales to Tarana directly results in sales for Ethernity. ISPs, broadband providers and Telecom will invest in establishing the network and at this point the Ethernity product is used. Then they sell their service up to the capacity of the product.

This is how I see Tarana going. This a local, regional challenges in the US. Yes we'll see some big nationals take it up but there are funds ticking here that Tarana will unlock.
The technology has been in field trials for the last year so these tests are small scale deployments, tooling and training.
Globally more people don't have access to viable Internet than do. 5G mobile won't solve this. Dish and AT&T are both looking at suburban solutions for FTTH.

To answer a few questions.
I am not Brian Klaff and yes if I was I was I would say that I am not.
Why do I think that Tarana will sell G1 in huge numbers? . It is a breakthrough product and an absolute game changer for a real world problem. It is uneconomical for fiber providers to run lines to the majority of premises. Wireless broadband is available but works mainly in line of sight, in short range and on exclusive spectrum which is expensive and has to be available. 90% of properties are not in line of sight of a tower.
Why had we not heard about this before? I guess that we did in December but for some reason it was still under wraps. Maybe it was the patent which is exactly about the Ethernity aspect of the product.
Do I expect the share price to increase and why hasn't it already.? Yes absolutely I feel that the share price trending up is absolutely inevitable. The share prwas 12p not so long ago so it has started. Like mass deployment it starts slow and gains speed. I expect the share price to be over £1 within 3 months.
This will from a combination of events. An update on the DU product development with clear indicators that it will go into production with several large manufacturers with ready markets.
Notification of the first UPF sales in China through OEMs.
Update on field trials in China with ACEnic-100 becoming an approved device.
Delivery of the first batch of flow processors for Tarana and media confirmation of a global sales pipeline.
It won't take all of these to reach £1 but this is what I believe we'll see.

In an article from February last year. I like the massive scale. Clearly Ethernity just thought "yeah yeah" to Tarana’s confidence. Greg Wyler is no muppet investor either. Tarana are now in mass deployment and already Ethernity have increased the order expectation. As this new product reaches globally we can expect a huge ramp up in demand. Certainly 5000 units us just a start.

OneWeb Founder and Chairman Greg Wyler is a Tarana investor and board member through 1010 Holdings, his family investment office. Wyler said that Tarana has developed the world’s “first and only fixed wireless technology with built in anti-jamming interference cancellation capability.”
“This allows Tarana to unlock over 300MHz of unlicensed spectrum for direct-to-consumer broadband applications which will drive down costs and help bridge the digital divide. I disagree I think that any sensible valuation will be more than £1.50 right now in a poor market.
I get the British mentality of not thinking strong so not to be disappointed but looking at market position, proximity and value £75m is nothing. In 2022 I believe that they will make £10m+ profit, I think that my prove conservation and actually it could be much more. If all 3 opportunities are exploited doubling or tripling wouldn't be ridiculous.
I get that they haven't done it yet but the opportunity is there for all to see.

The manufacturers have come to Ethernity, they have Pioneers waiting for this solution. They have 3 majors engaged here working with Ethernity to perfect the product.
Yes others have DU products but what I see is that they are at the Radio Unit physically. That's a very unlikely position. I think that Ethernity are absolutely on their own here. Each DU can accommodate 8-10 RU. Multiple solutions may be deployed at dense saturation. Ethernity will be pushing for the Vrouter on board. With the Vrouter it's absolutely unique and solves the whole problem on a cheap server.
The UPF in China will be big mainly because the other competitors are US.

Yes agreed. Any other platform would be £2+ just on hype and BS. We have a BS free price here expecting absolute failure on all fronts.
I see the UPF outside of China as the hardest sell. A couple of months ago it was the only market and only product.
